Proud Mama

I just had to share how proud I am of my Ryan today. He is washing a muffin pan so carefully and telling me how he loves washing dishes! I know it won't last so I'm sharing immediately! He thanked me yesterday for his punishment (losing his DSi for 3 weeks for the turkey fight in the basement). He said it will help him to remember not to do it again. He's maturing before our eyes! There was something else that I wanted to share that has escaped me for the moment. I'll come back if I remember!

Half Sleepover and Bowling Night

Busy busy weekend with the Friday night "Half Sleepover" at the boys' school, Saturday morning Stamp Club at our house, Saturday evening bowling and dinner with the Velthuis family, Sunday swim lessons and Rock Band and pizza with the Andrews family. Good times!

Belvedere Pumpkin Farm Field Trip

Despite the long bus ride and short stay at the destination, I was thankful to be able to go on the field trip today with Tyler and his friends.

I spent WAY too much time in the kitchen today baking some autumn treats for the teachers at Kindercare and Montclair. Tomorrow I get to chaperone Tyler's field trip to the pumpkin farm so more pictures to come...

Monster Mash

Saturday night was the Monster Mash dance at the boys' school. There were food, games, music and lots of kids in costume! Mr. St. Pierre, the music teacher, danced with the kids and DJ'd the event.

Tyler loves this boy (Owen) in the blue boxing costume. His face lights up when he sees him or talks about him. Now we know why Tyler is so crazy about him. Check out the talent in this video!

We had a fabulous time in Vegas and the boys had a fabulous time at home with nanny and grandpa!! We can't thank them enough!!
