Photogenic

It has been hard getting a good picture of Brevin lately.  He is not interested in stopping to smile for the camera.  Jace on the other hand, would sit and smile for the camera all day, although he would have to stop to eat.  That is pretty evident from the pictures.  

The plastic tractor in the picture with Brevin is one of the best toys I have ever bought him.  He plays with it every day and runs a lot of his energy out with it.  He runs back and forth pushing it through the house.  He is looking forward to the nice weather.  We have had a couple of 50 degree days and one 60 degree day.  He loves to be outside blowing bubbles, riding his bike, pushing his bike, swinging, and running around the neighborhood.  He has gotten SO much better at listening.  He no longer throws a fit when I ask him to turn around or come back.  It is wonderful!!  

Jace is developing quite the personality!  When he smiles his face lights up.  There is a picture of Aaron with that same double chin when he was little.  I only wish I had the picture to post it.  He loves his brother and is already trying to keep up with him.  He gets frustrated fairly easy as he is not that efficient with crawling yet.  He is able to crawl forward and backward, although he is still fairly tipsy and slow.  It is pretty evident that he likes food.  He is happy to try anything and very rarely gags.  Come to think of it I don't think I have seen him gag, he only shivers at a strange texture.  What a change!! 

Binki Boy

Jace goes in stages where he loves his binki and wants it all of the time and other times he doesn't want anything to do with it. Here are a few pictures of Jace with his binki.
I don't think it is very safe when you can put the whole binki in your mouth. He has been able to do this for quite some time and I worry about it all the time but he will only take this ugly green thing sometimes. I tried the Super soothie which is a harder silicone but he HATES them!

Happy Valentines Day!

I know this post is late but I haven't been able to post pictures recently. Grandma Winterholler sent some fun stuff for both of the boys for Valentines. Jace had fun opening his bag. He loved the tissue paper and his Jiggle pal. Brevin also enjoyed his gifts from Grandma. He had to sleep with the trucks that night and he still enjoys his Thomas Valentines day card.
