February

February was fairly more eventful than January! Ryan turned the big 2-9! He got a new TV for his birthday that he has been drooling over for who knows how long. He definitely deserved it, he works really, really hard for his little family. Love you Ry! Macy has been doing so much better with her spitting up! So much so that we stopped giving her her medicine for acid reflux and she started sleeping 12 hours through the night! Can you say happy mom?! She seems to really be filling out too. She worried me a little at her last Dr's appt. He length was in the 25-50th%, her weight was in the 5-10th% and her head was below the 5th%. Tiny thing! Anyway, here are some more pictures:
Yes, those are Christmas jammies in February ... thanks to Ryan's fabulous fashion sense!

I don't think I like these peas!

January

January wasn't too exciting of a month, but I just wanted to add an update on Macy. She started eating solid foods and LOVES it! She is hilarious to watch! She gets so excited when she sees a spoonful of food, she points her toes so hard that her legs are all the way off her high chair seat and she opens and closes her hands really fast as to say "gimme, gimme". She's a funny girl. The faces she makes are pretty entertaining too. She also started reaching and grabbing for her toys now too. Actually, she reaches for anything she can get her hands on!

Here are a few pictures of what Macy's been up to lately :)

One of her favorite toys ... don't judge me for having pork ramen noodle in my pantry!

Movie Time @ grandma & grandpa's!

Macy's Blessing

We blessed Macy the Sunday after Christmas. It was so nice to have all of our family there.  Ryan did such an awesome job! He was a little nervous since it was his first blessing he had ever done, but it was such a sweet blessing. We had a little lunch at our house after. It was a good day :)

Christmas 2010 - Better late than never!

Just a little warning, I took a TON of pictures since it was Macy's first Christmas and I've had a hard time narrowing them down, so there are probably too many pictures in this post. Sorry!

I am {just a little} late getting this up, but oh well. At least I'm blogging again! OK, on with the posting ...

We had a great Christmas! A couple days before Christmas we tried to go see Santa at Bass Pro with my parents, my brother and Deb but unfortunately we got there too late and they had already given out all their tickets to see Santa. So, we just walked around and looked at the fish tank.

Afterward, Deb came with Ryan, Macy & I to the temple lights. It was SO cold! Our friend James also met us there with his girlfriend. We ran into Elder Zachimi there too! He was one of the missionaries who taught Ryan the discussions but was transferred to Taylor before Ryan's baptism. It was great to catch up with him and he got to meet Macy.

All bundled up!
We spent Christmas Eve with my family. We had dinner at my Uncle Rob's with the extended family and then we went back to my parents with my immediate family and played games. We slept in more than we wanted to on Christmas morning and had to wake Macy up to open her presents. She has a firm grip so she was able to hold on the the wrapping paper and we would just pull the box away from her. She {unsurprisingly} was more interested in the wrapping paper and bows.

The funniest thing, we bought her one of those toys that has all the different colored and sized plastic rings and it is a little awkwardly shaped. When I started wrapping it, I had a vision of how it would look but it turned out to be the ugliest wrapping job I've ever done! When we pulled it out from under the tree, Macy looked at it like 'what the heck is that?' It was hilarious!

Little story behind this picture - My mom may or may not be losing her mind :) She wrapped these pants for my brother in law Brad {who is a big guy} and mistakenly wrote my name on the tag. I was a little confused when I opened the present to say the least!

Camden helping Grandpa open his present. Notice the pieces of tissue paper mid-air ... he was really excited to reveal the present for Grandpa!

After we opened our presents, we went to my parents for breakfast and to exchange gifts and then spent the rest of the day with Ryan's family. It was such a fun, relaxing Christmas. Ryan is so funny. For those of you that know him, you know how much he loves his practical presents. A few years ago he wanted the Oreck XL air purifier for Christmas. Well this year was no exception, he wanted a water softener ... so a water softener he got!

Thanks Grandma!

Hmm ... does it fit in my mouth?

She was more interested in Cole's toys

In her Christmas jammies

One of my favorite presents was a Roomba vacuum from Deb. It's so nice to just turn it on when we leave and come home to clean floors. Chloe on the other hand HATES it. The first time we left with the vacuum on, we came home to chaos. It had knocked over Chloe's gate {to say she is terrified of her gate and the noise it makes when it falls over is an understatement}, unplugged the cord from Macy's swing and dragged it to the middle of the family room and plowed over the tree skirt. Lesson learned - make sure the floor it picked up and Chloe's gate secured when we turn it on when we leave!

Well, we hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We are so thankful for all of our many blessings and that we were able to celebrate the birth of Christ this season.

Next up ... Macy's Blessing
