Well after 3 years of having this blog and apparently having the ability to run out of room! I created a new one rather than pay each month to keep the old one. I didn't make the other one private cause it really is just a pain to keep it up and get messages saying people need a new invite and what not but who knows maybe I'll end up making that one private too we'll see. ANYWAYS here's the new blog

BOO!
Such a fun Halloween this year! especially compared to last year when I was 8 months pregnant, uncomfortable and definitely wasn't going to be dressing up.
This Halloween was bitter sweet, we had fun but MJ was sick with a cold so she slept all afternoon than it was a rush to visit Ryan before he got off work and had to go to school. (yes you heard that right..school on Halloween lame sauce LDBC..lame.) Visiting the grandparents and friends.
Our little sugar plum fairy in spite of being sick was still happy and some what comatose during her photo shoot at times.
I couldn't just pick 1 or 2..or even 3 of my favorites. I'm told I need to take as many pictures of my future kids as I do with Mary haha.

11 months
woops slackin off! 11 month update for little miss MJ.
So sad that her next month update she will be a year old!! It goes by way too quickly.
She is all over the place crawling and couch cruising, getting more independent and curious. She is still so good and easy I can't complain. As of now she is in her crib ''humming'' herself to sleep for a little nap. She is such a smart little thing and loves to mimic us. She loves bath time and cries whenever I turn off the water, loves to fake cough, and recently found her nostril hole... with her finger.
Fun Facts:
Wears size 3 diapers, size 3 shoes and varies in clothes 6+ months up but most of those clothes are summer so they're packed away. It is so fun to have her cute winter clothes out!
She is talking a little bit! She says: Mama, Daddy/Dadda, doggy, owl, kind of says flowers after I say it to her. Makes the sounds of a dog and monkey and will stick out her tongue if you ask her where it is. She is very good at sharing and will hand us objects if we ask nicely, and listens when we say to come here or to watch out when I'm needing to shut the door when she is in the way of it. Her two top teeth are just about done coming through! and 2 more on the bottom will be showing up soon!
Loves:
Bath time, sleeping in with me in the mornings, feeding herself (meal time is now officially naked time for her so I can just toss her in the bath after) playing with the baby doll at Granny and Papa D's house, listening/dancing to music, putting the phone up to her ear to talk as well as playing baby apps on my phone.
She is a pretty good eater and will try anything right now but she definitely loves her yogurt bites and gets so excited when I pull them out.
Hates:
The sound of the vacuum and blender, sometimes she hates being fed by us and will wave her hands all over telling us no, she's starting to throw temper tantrums kicking her legs when I lift her up, will not drink cold formula milk.
Over all she is very very sweet but definitely has some sass in her which I love and is pretty independent.

FHE
Last Monday rather than doing the regular evening routine which consists of dinner, laundry (if I'm home from work) Ryan studying and getting to bed at a decent time I decided to take us up Big Cottonwood Canyon to see the fall colors and have Mary enjoy her first time seeing them.
I LOVE fall, the smells, the colors, the clothes. Nothing quite like coming home to the smell of pumpkin spice or cinnamon. It's the season of busting out the crock pot and making delicious soups, and with having my very own Martha Stewart of a neighbor upstairs I hope to bake a pie and make some bread successfully.
Is this face hilarious or what
By the way, Mary has finally decided to say mama! and as of tonight at a friends house she says doggy. Love my talkative little girl!

Sunday Funday
Almost every Sunday we go over to Ryan's grand parents home for dinner and to visit. It's fun for Mary to get to know her extended family and spend time with those who adore her. And I mean they sure do adore her! Yesterday we ventured over to the Armenian side after since a couple of cousins were in town and haven't seen MJ in person yet. She has no sense of stranger danger she just would let anyone pick her up and hold her, loved it.
The girls made Pho (PH-UH) which is a Vietnamese noodle soup which is just amazing. So simple to make too. Or at least from what it looked like watching haha.

10 months
The stages of having this little girl in our family just keep getting better and more fun.
Fun Facts:
Still wearing some 3-6 month onesies that have stretched a bit while she has grown but wears clothes 6-12 months. Size 3 diapers size 2 shoes. Loves to sleep like her mama (yay!) Is a total mama's girl and I love it, still teaching her to say 'Mama'. Binkies go with us wherever we go, no more bottles only sippy cups for this girl.
She loves to mimic and makes the funniest little faces. She'll scrunch up her face and breath in and out of her nose fast like she's upset or impatient or something. Hilarious! She says ''Hi'' and ''Daddy'' and attempts owl pretty well (her room is owl themed that's where it came from)
She is bit of a picky eater these days as in she wants to feed herself rather than us spoon feed her. Makes for many messes and bath times. No walking yet which I am just fine with, I'm not ready for her to be walking all over the place yet.
She has such a sweet personality with a pinch of sass, she knows exactly what she wants and will let us know!
Loves:
Bath time, watching baby einstein - she gets so excited and squeals while watching. It's so dang funny and cute, reading books, feeding herself, ripping up paper or anything she can get her hands on, getting in to our dvd collection and pushing them all over the kitchen, playing patty cake, loves dogs!, and car rides.
Hates:
The vacuum, being told no, getting her diaper changed; she rolls over so fast! If Ryan is home we have to team it up to change her. Some times hates being fed she wants to do it by herself, oatmeal/rice cereal, laying in the grass her poor bald head is what hates it I think.

Labor Day week
For labor day we decided to spend the week in San Jose where Ryan's sister and her family live. We left early morning keeping our fingers crossed our 13 hour drive with a 9 month old. Well just goes to show how lucky we really are with our munchkin. She is just the best baby ever. Our trip was going smooth till we came to Donners Pass. Bumper to Bumper traffic. FOUR hours long. Which by the way is normally a 30 minute drive. Yeah... I was dying to get out of the car. By hour 15 MJ was done as well and needed a break. After being in the car for 17 hours we finally arrived and were ready for some much needed sleep.
We had such a fun time visiting family and friends! We were not ready to come home to reality.
-Photo Bomb!-
HaHa, quite the face after trying a lime
Love California and eating fresh fish!
Hanging out with her cousins
First time for MJ at the beach!
Not a fan of the cold ocean...poot traumatized girl
Spending Stefani's birthday together! Cheese cake deliciousness
Day out with the Toler family at the Oakland Zoo
My little bald ninja baby
Date afternoon for these two..MJ not sure what she thinks about it all
All tuckered out after our long day of lots of fun
Back on the road home! Yay for no crazy traffic
