Ian's Bday. He had a couple of friends over for cake the day after. It is the family party year so we already celebrated at Red Robin the night before but this was a much funner picture :) Happy Bday Ian

Jaden's 5th Bday was on Thanksgiving this year.
We are celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow with my family so
today was a special day just for Jaden. He of course wanted and
recieved all Lighting Mcqueen stuff.

Okay so Chase is mad that he didn't have his whole costume. (the rest of his redneck costume was in grandpa's van from hunting) so he is just sporting the mullet and the really crabby face. (he ended up getting it all before we got to the party and the trickor treating stuff) Ian was a TMNT (teenage mutant ninga turtle), Jaden- a Cougar again (had a peter pan costume but he changed his mind to last years costume) & Elle was a Glitter witch. This was her first halloween of running door to door. She loved it. We spent most of our time at the party at Ryan's work. They even each got to meet Bill Gates Sr. He thought Ian' was a frog :) All in all it was a fun night out.

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice last night. So fun!

Jaden's First Day of Preschool

He was so excited about school. He is getting so big I miss him while he's gone. I can't believe next year i'll only have one at home :(

 
 


The boys first day of school was last Wednesday. Chase is a 5th grader and Ian is a 2nd grader. I took a quick video when they each got home. Ian thinks school is awesome, Chase thinks it stinks. But the now 4 days later Chase is still liking it more but it is still school. How fast they learn! I love the innocent 2nd grade thought process. Everything is still wonderful. Jaden starts preschool next week. More pictures to follow.

My sister Britney and her hubby Kevin had my cutest nephew in the world yesterday. Isn't he just the custest little guy ever! He has more hair than all mine had put together. SOOO CUTE!

Elle making animal noises

Above is the picture of the kids and Ryan right before we walked in the parade. I didn't get enough pictures of it. Then the boys on the fourth. Ian woke up before 8am and set up all of our fireworks. They were all grouped together and organized. They all woke up and said okay when do we get to do the fireworks! They had to wait over 12 hours (it almost killed them) How fun it was!

Roskelley Wildlife Rescue

So we are officially opening our own little nonprofit organization. We seem to be saving a lot of little baby animals lately. My parents had a cute little bunny (obviously someone's abandon pet because she was so comfortable with people) she had babies and made a nest on my parents little deck. Their mean neighboor called animal control and they took the mother away yesterday morning. We found out late last night. We saved the bunnies, bottle fed them last night and took them to the wildlife rescue place today. It was so amazing. They were so little and hungry they ate from one of Elle's old bottles. Another amazing experience hopefully the kids will remember for their entire lives.

Busy Week!

Okay so yesterday was the kids last day of school. They are so excited to be done!
Wednesday was field day at the kids school. Jaden and Elle were there with me. Jaden was playing on the monkey bars and just slipped off trying to grab the next bar. He severly broke both bones in his forearm (radius and ulna) so badly that we had to go from the local hospital down to our regular hospital in Kirkland and have an orthopedic surgeon fix it. It was so nasty looking. The bone was almost out of the skin it was pushing out. Very nasty. They actually had to put him under and get it back in place. It was a long evening and I feel so blessed it was fixable and Ryan was luckily home early so I didn't have all 4 kids with me. Poor little Jaden he was such a tough little guy!

Jaden's Graduation and the Zoo

Jaden graduated from preschool yesterday. We had the graduation/party at our house. They all got waterguns and had a blast. So cute. Also one of our many trips to the zoo but a cute picture of all of them.

Our Duckling Experience

So yesterday our dog was freaking out in our garage. She was trying to get something under the storage shelves. We thought maybe a mouse but no it was a BABY DUCK! You'd think this is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to our household. Although the kids want to keep "FLASH" we'll be taking it to the Sarvey Wildlife Reserve today after school. What an amazing experience to teach the kids about wild animal preservation. I know I'm a geek but it really is so fun! Here are some pictures I will add a little video we took too for fun. Hopefully it will work.
