do you kids know what more than a foot of snow looks like?

i sure do. it's all coming back to me now...

this is sort of what i looked like after clearing a path from the front door to the mailbox.





here's how I-95 looked while i dealt with the near electrical fire at my parents' house.



shortly following this we rejoiced at the fact that the shorted oil
burner would be repaired by the end of the day. and that the tv had not
exploded. thank god it still worked!! what would i do without weepy
olympics coverage? if i missed this wednesday's new Project Runway
episode i'd be very very upset.

time to venture out with leg warmers, gloves, scarf, hat, boots, puffy jacket and a bottle of water with emergen-cee.
