Great to be 8!

I cozy birthday girl. She's not sick, just wanted to be warm and toasty.

Family coming for pizza, cake and presents all used with yellow tissue paper.

Tanner doing a dance for the camera.

A yellow heart birthday cake. Appropriate for our yellow sunshiny girl with a February birthday.

basketball

Our first season basketball star has greatly surprised us.  She steels, shoots, and even scores. She likes playing with some of her friends. I thought she would be more timid, but she looks like she has being playing for a few years. She is learning the rules and not foaling as often as the season progresses. When she wants to be assertive, she didn't know you couldn't go over the back.

Nathan is playing on the deacons basketball team. They are fun to watch and do a great job of passing the ball around to all the players. Nathan has made some shots, I can't remember if he's scored. I'm sure he'll tell me!

bowling

Going bowling to get out of the haze.

Officially off bumpers. I didn't know they did bowling in PE. That extra practice means she's staying away from the gutters most of the time.

Wanted to try non bumpers too. A difficult first time, but a great learning experience.

The family bowling champ!

The official ball gardian. No ball will get lost with the gardian on the job. It takes some serious concentration. In this job your not allowed to smile.

gold ribbon fox trot

I missed the pics on the fox trot, but here is their surpise dance swing.

Go Team 712!

B-day skater

She's double digets and officially a tween.
She loves pink, pink, pink.
She's so grown up and becoming such a big helper.
She helps take care of the little boys.
She likes to cook.
She's still very friendly and silly.
She took us ice skateing for her birthday.
What a balance girl.

Snow and more snow

What a snow season this has been. We spent most of Christmas break playing in the snow. Then we survived the freezing temperatures of most of January. Then we've shoveled more snow the end of January. Here is some of our snowy fun.
