Here's a funny story and some light reading

I will admit, I'm not a very patient person! This is not a good thing when driving on the road or worse on the freeway. I always want to get to my destination in a hurry. So long story short, I'm not a grandma driver. I speed just a little bit :)So I was driving on the freeway the other day and, yes I was on my cell phone. I wasn't paying attention to how fast I was driving but apparently I was speeding (surprise, surprise) I know this because when I looked in my rear view mirror, I saw what we all don't want to see.... the flashing red and blue lights. I pulled over and I just began to laugh because I knew there was no way of talking myself out of this because I was going atleast 85 or 90 on the freeway so of course I deserved a ticket. I pulled out my wallet, rolled down my window, and proceeded to hand the officer my ID. While handing my card to the cop, he said to me "I only take master card!" I looked at him confused and then looked down at my "ID" and well it wasn't my ID it was my visa card. HA HA, silly me. During all of this, I thought to myself that this cop was attractive but not only that, he looked extremely familar. I looked at his name badge and I recognized his name too. So I put two and two together and remembered that he used to live in my neighborhood and that I had a huge crush on his twin brother. So I said to him, "I know you, you used to live in my neighborhood." He didn't believe me at first so he asked me who my parents were and I told him there names and he said "Fine you little brat, I guess your going to get out of this one." I was shocked so shocked that I said "Are you sure you don't want to give me a ticket, I know I deserve one." Who honestly says that when told they are going to get off free. Like I said I was shocked and a little bit in denial which caused me to say CRAZY things. But he was positive he wasn't going to give me a ticket. So I went on my little way. I consider myself extremely LUCKY.

Lesson Learned

I learned a very valuable lesson this week unfortunately I had to learn it the hard way. Never get stuck in the middle of two of your friends problems. You either lose a friend or worse a friends trust. In the beginning you think that your helping but in reality all your doing is creating more problems. I'm an advocate of honesty but is there ever a time when your able to tell the truth to one person with out betraying another persons trust. I have yet to learn how that is possible. I'm sorry for those I have hurt especially the ones I love. Like I said, lesson learned! This is the last time I will get into a sticky situation like this!!!!!!!!!!!!
