Luke's 7th Birthday
Luke turned seven at the end of last month and I can hardly believe it! It was a school day so I got to go into Luke's class and pass out treats. He chose Fruit by the Foot. The little girl behind him is his best friend. She is a doll.
On Luke's birthday poster for school he said he wanted to be like his Dad when he grew up. Pretty Cute!
Claire cannot be left out of anything where Luke is concerned. I thought this was an adorable picture of these two.
I didn't want to be left out either! The faces this one pulls...
This was an off year for a friend party which is nice for me! He wanted to eat at Chik-fil-A for dinner and my dad came with us. The kids think it is such a treat to eat fast food inside the restaurant because we hardly ever do it. Playing in the playground seemed to make his day! After dinner we came home and ate dough-nettes (Luke's choice) and ice cream.
He got a huge Lego city set that he spent the better part of a week making. Of course with the faithful help of his devoted brother! These two are Lego fiends!
I must add a funny story about Luke from last night's dinner. We had the sister missionaries over for dinner on Sunday and the kids were running all over with the Sunday crazies. Tim said to the kids, "Why don't you ask them questions about their missions? Ask them about P-Days." (P-Day stands for preparation day)
Luke got the funniest look on his face and seemed so incensed when he said, "What? You want us to get into their personal stuff?"
I have never laughed so hard in all my life. Thankfully it was about time for the sister's to leave because the potty jokes could not be stopped at that point.
Happy Birthday Luke. We love you! You sure keep our house interesting!
