Avey
So my sweet little "sister love" had her first two photo shoots yesterday! One in my bedroom, with Daddy snapping away, and one at a Studio in SLC. I can see how this could become addictive! I am totally planning on going back and getting more pictures of her in two weeks. Judd said not to go too crazy, but then again, he was the one that nearly broke the bank by ordering massive amounts of photos at the studio. I just sat back, and let him take are of all of it. Unbelievably nice! I am letting go of control, and I am liking it! (just like J picking her name! It was so nice not to worry about it!)
So, about Avey's name: I can't believe that J decided to name her Avey! I love the name, and always have, but I didn't really think that it was something that he would pick! I thought for sure when I saw that black haired baby come out, that her name would be Olivia, or Elisabeth. Then I looked over to the table where they whisked her away to work on her lungs, and saw J recording her with the camcorder. "Hello, Avey...I love you, Avey...." he was calling her by name within seconds! J says, he looked at her for the first time for real when she was laying there, she opened her eyes for the first time after being born, and stared right at him, with her spirit. Judd said it was very spiritual. Her eyes said "Avey", so that is what he called her.
He said that he thought he would name her Olivia, when he saw her hair, but he couldn't say the name. It was without a doubt "Avey"
So, we love this little sister, and even though she likes to stay up all night, and sleep all day, we wouldn't trade her sweetness for anything!

AVEY VIOLET BEAGLEY 6 lbs. 12 oz. 20 in. long!
Avey (for my grandma V.) Violet (for my gma Nanny) was born Jan 4, 2008 @ 10:55 am.
She's finally here!! (a day late, no less!!) But, were so glad to have her here. I'll post more soon. This girl has a story just like everyone else, right?
