my sister is 25

My little sister's birthday was yesterday, it's weird that she turned 25, especially since I don't feel that old myself! She had a party at her house last night, which is not uncommon, all the usual friends were there, no strangers. I was hurt to go to my purse for some chapstick to find most of my cash was missing. Um... WHAT?! They left the $100 bill I've been holding onto since Christmas, but took all the rest, at least $58, unfortunately I don't even know how much cash I had left since I hadn't used it in a while. The sad thing is, I wouldn't have even noticed for days except that they left my wallet open in my purse, not the way I left it, and the $100 bill was sticking out. I'm pretty anal about the way things are positioned in my purse so I know I definitely did not leave my wallet sticking out, especially with money sticking out of it. The saddest thing is, they also took a $50 bill from my sister's wallet, it was birthday money she had just gotten out of a card earlier that day. Talk about ruining a party. They have parties frequently at their house, inviting all kinds of people, nothing has ever been missing before. This party was all close friends that they have known for many, many years and that makes the fact that someone stole from us that much more heartbreaking. There will be no more fun parties at Jen and Blake's after last night. I don't even care about the money, luckily I'm not hurting for it right now, but the fact that someone stole from me, and my sister, in her own home is just hurtful.

Sugar wanted to join the cake celebration too, can't blame her since it was red velvet cake!

There I am taking Sugar back in the house. :)
