Well, we actually DO have pack meetings in this ward. We just do then when we’re ready to. No hard and fast rule as to when they will be. LOL! On this night Channing earned a red bead for completing part of his Bear requirements.

Easter Sunday 2011
We had a wonderful Easter Sunday this year. We went to church first and afterward the kids waited in my room (for several hours) for their Miller cousins to come so we could all have a big Easter egg hunt and eat a tasty dinner together. The Easter Bunny left some toys and games in my room for them to pass them time (what a wise bunny)! Sister Julie Hatch also joined us for the festivities.
So the egg hunt was lots of fun and some eggs had numbers in them that corresponded to prizes, so this year the bunny went all out! It was very exciting to watch the kids run all over the house and in the backyard. After the hunt we enjoyed a traditional ham dinner together. When dinner was over we went to the park and let the kids take turns flying a foam airplane that Channing had won from the Easter Egg hunt.
The kids looked so cute for church. I chose to put everyone in navy this year (never again)! I was so hard to find that color in Spring. I thought it would look good though since 3 of this family have blue eyes.
Ward Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast
We had a HUGE Easter Egg hunt for the kids in the ward at the park in front of our house. We collected and bought hundreds of eggs and loads of candy. We filled all the eggs and the morning of the hunt we just went and threw them all over the field. There were so many eggs that we honestly needed some more kids! It was tons of fun and the kids had a blast running all over the field. Afterward we had a pancake breakfast served up by the young men. You can see pictures of them cooking in our kitchen. Piles of pancakes and sausage and juice. The weather was perfect and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time! What a fun party!

Dyeing Easter Eggs with the Osborne’s and Quino’s
One of our favorite Easter Traditions is dyeing Easter eggs. We were lucky to have the Osborne kids and the Quino kids join us this year for the fun. Some kids had dyed fingers, but there were very few spills/cracked eggs this year, so I can say that they’re all getting bigger and more experienced at this! Lots of fun for everyone!
Easter clothes pictures/Church pictures and brunch at the Millers
After Alec spoke in church, we took a few pictures since the kids were all dressed up in their Easter clothes (might as well do it early)! There’s a picture with Bob and his brothers and the kids with Grandpa and Grandma Paxman. Afterward we had a delicious brunch at the Millers. Yummy! At the bottom are some pics of Caelyn being desperate to crawl…
