If Only it Were that Easy

The Mister Nicster is doing some funny things lately. One of these things happens to be his reaction when I ask or tell him to do something he doesn't want to do. Tonight I told him it was time to get out of the bath and this is how he responds:

Any time he decides he doesn't want to do something he covers his eyes which in his mind must mean I can't see him and therefore can't make him do something he doesn't want to. Haha... I'm thinking I'm going to try this out. I really HATE laundry so maybe if I don't do it, and Kirk asks where all the clean clothes are I can just cover my eyes :) Although it doesn't actually work for Dominic (he still has to get out of the bath) and I definately wouldn't look as cute...

Happy Easter

This is the cutest little girl I know :)
The best picture I could get of Dominic was him talking on his new "phone"...
The kids checking out what the Easter Bunny brought...

I asked Dominic to go sit by Natalie so I could take a picture of them together - Dominic only had one thing on his mind, the play phone, so he heard me say Natalie and must have thought I wanted him to share his cool new toy with her - it was pretty cute!

Happy Easter 2009! Kirk was actually off work for Easter so we got to go to church as a family - Kirk has decided that 2 hours in the nursery is a little rough (since he usually has to leave after the first hour) and I subed for a primary class of extremly hiper 10 year olds :) I think being busy chacing kids aroud and teaching a non-Easter lesson made it feel less like Easter and I was a little disappointed. But, since I'm going to be chasing kids around for a while I'd better figure out how to balance everything for next year. On a better note, we had Easter dinner with Kirk's family and I think I have the two most adorable children ever! Of course Dominic only wanted to be outside with Daddy so luckily it wasn't snowing like it did earlier in the week, but it was still a bit chilly -gotta love northeast Ohio!
