All About My Lucas!!

Dear Luke

You've been with us for almost 6 months now and you are absolutely everything I could've prayed for. I can't tell you how many times in the last couple of weeks from how many members of family I've heard "He is the happiest baby ever." That's right you are. I'm not just saying that cause I'm your mom. No one will ever know you, Kenzie, and Kayden like I do and you all have been the HAPPIEST babies and children I can imagine. Your smile just lights up the room. You are so handsome and melt every time you reach for me. I know exactly how blessed I am. You've just started rolling around and army crawling this month. I can't believe how big you are getting. Time is flying by but I'm loving every second. Just wish I could slow it down. I love you so much Lucas. You were the exact piece I felt like was missing.

This is us swimming. You should be screaming and so uncomfortable but this is you just very relaxed and go with the flow and HAPPY.

This is your first time camping and you are crashed out from a day of swimming.

Some say you look like me and some like daddy some say like Kenzie and some say like Kayden. Ya know what I think... You are a perfect mixture. You look like Luke and you are handsome.

Besides me no one loves you more than your daddy. I wish I could explain the way he looks at you and Kayden and Kenzie when he walks through the door. Or when you all wake up. He is so in love. You and Kayden are the perfect boys for him. Exactly what we both always wanted.

You went through a phase of thumb sucking that lasted a couple of weeks I broke it though yay. It's really cute but too hard to break later on.

Kayden has to be the proudest, most careful, loving brother ever. He just adores you. I think he can't wait for you to grow up and play with him. But just making you smile and laugh is his favorite thing to do.

Now your sister she loves making you laugh too but her favorite thing to do is cuddle with you. She loves holding you and feeding you and kissing you. She's picking you up now and loves that too. She is a amazing big sister that loves you so much.

I couldn't ask for more.

We all love you so much Luke. These last 6 months have been the best with you. You are such a good baby. Sleeping through the night at about 2 and half months. You sleep from 8pm to 9am. You are ALWAYS happy. It's very rare to see you sad. You are cuddly and lovey and love to give wide open mouth kisses and lay on mommy or daddy's chest. We love you so much.

My Kayden

To my son Kayden,

You are going to be turning 5 in just a couple of months. I can't even believe how fast you have grown up. You have the best and funnest personality. Dad and I just can't get enough of you. This year you got to go from being the little brother to a big brother too. The way you are with Lucas makes me so proud. I was a little nervous you had been our baby for so long (you always will be) but having another baby coming home I thought was going to be so hard on you. It really wasn't at all. You just love him so much. I know that Luke is going to have the best big brother ever. Kayden you are so happy and kind and fun. You very much go with the flow. You love swimming more than anything right now. We went to Willard Bay and you tubed all by yourself for the first time. I can't believe how brave you are for four years old. Every time we go to lagoon you want to go on the big rides too but you're just not quite tall enough yet. You love to be going and having fun to a extent. It's fine as long as we end up back in your bed. You're not a huge fan of being away from home for multiple days. You kind of struggle when we go to Arizona because you like your space and your stuff. There is nothing wrong with that. You're like your daddy in that way. I told you a year or so back that you needed to say "Excuse Me" when adults are talking. Now you say it all the time whether you are interrupting or not. It is so cute and polite. We love you so much Kayden and are so proud of the little man you're becoming before our eyes.

Kenzie and Lucas are with out a doubt your best friends and favorite people.

You and Kenz are inseparable. Today you asked me to write on her card Makenzie and Kayden and Lucas BFF and I love you all for Makenzie. You're so sweet.

I think the water is your second home.

So you may look just like your daddy but you definitely have more of your mom's personality. Kenzie is like daddy you and like mommy. You are just really laid back, don't get worked up easy, loves people and talking.

From Daddy you got your love for books, your mechanical abilities you can take stuff apart and put it back together and are great at building things, your can be a home body like daddy, and you are so sweet and kind to people just like daddy.

I hope yours and Makenzie's relationship never changes and I know you'll be just the same with Lucas.

You love love love CAMPING!! Can't wait to get a trailer one of these days when mommy starts growing money. I love that I get to spend the rest of my life playing with you and your sister and your brother.

Besides your brother and sister your best friend with out a doubt is Jayden. You are both so cute. Wrestling, Transformers, Baseball, Lagoon are just some of your favorite things to do together. I love you two so much. You keep mine and Krista's lives very interesting.

Kayden I don't ever have to say if I could've made the perfect son.... Because I have two of them. You are everything I wanted my boy to be. ROUGH and TOUGH, Totally Boy, but Cuddly and Sweet and Kind. I love you so much.

The Wedding We've All Been Waiting For

Our friends Brandon and Ashley got married Thursday. It's a wedding we've all been waiting for they've been together for 10 years since they were 13 and were so ready to be married. If I were to pick out two perfect people for each other it would be these two people. We love them both so much and think that they are going to have a very long happy life and marriage. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL down to the last detail. Ashley is so gorgeous any way but her dress was amazing. Brandon didn't look so bad either. Congratulations Ashley and Brandon we love you!!

Luke was a rock star!! I just couldn't leave him with a sitter yet so he came and was such a good boy the whole time.

Princess Makenzie

Makenzie this post is all for you!

So this year you've got another brother, lost your first tooth, tubed at Willard Bay by yourself for the first time, started swimming on your own with out floaties or a life jacket, you'll be turning 6 and starting Kindergarten. It's so crazy how fast time goes by. I was a 19 yr old girl that was depressed, confused, and lost in my life when you came along. You helped me grow up very fast, changed my outlook on a lot of things, and you absolutely brought out the BEST in me.

You are the most beautiful girl Makenzie on the inside and the outside. You care so much about other people, even people you don't know. You and I were making dinner and the news was on a few months ago and it was talking about Haiti and all the people that were hurt and sleeping on the grass, there was so many children... You said "mommy why can't we go get some of those kids?" I said "Makenzie if only it were that easy." You said simply "It should be." You asked me to get you a sister and you would share all of your stuff and your room with her. Then just last month there was a man on the street that was begging for FOOD or MONEY. So I cracked the window and handed him a few dollars. You asked me why I did that. I told you that when you have so much more than someone else it's good to help other people. You said if you had your way you would take all of those people and get them their own homes so they didn't live on the street. There's so many things like that you've said and done.

The day we found out that mommy was having another boy was a rough one for you. You had begged and begged that it was a sister. You cried so hard finding out you were having another brother. We got in the car and I said "Makenzie, brother's can be the most fantanstic and amazing people in your world. They are the one's to defend you and guard you and take care of you." You were happy from that moment on. With out a doubt you are the BEST big sister any one could ask for. You take such good care of Luke and Kayden. They both love you more than anything. If ever something happened to me the one thing that I wish for you and Kayden and Lucas is that you be close. You guys need to be each other's best friends always, stand by eachother, when you have families make sure you're still close and the people you choose care about that too. That's the biggest thing your dad and I want for all three of you.

You are like your dad in so many ways. You look like me but your personality is so much more like him. You've inherited all of his best qualities. You just love to be with people, you love to talk, you love to make new friends, and you care about how things you do or say affect other people.

From me I would say you've gotten your love for being busy. You could go go go and never stop. You love to be out having fun making memories. You love having people around and I think will be the planner one day just like me.

Kayden with out a doubt is your best friend. I know you'll get there with Luke too. Kayden and you enjoy each other's company more than not. You fight but it never lasts longer than 5 minutes. You do not like to be apart. You compete with each other but I don't think it's a bad thing. People thought I was crazy for having you so close but that was one of my favorite things that's ever happened to me.

Besides your brothers I would say your cousin Porter is your favorite person in the world right now. You can't get enough of him especially since he is so far away. You two get along so well and just LOVE to be together. I love seeing that it reminds me of me and my cousins growing up.

So your aunt and uncle and cousins from Mississippi were coming in and Aunt Jill and Grammy and cousins from Arizona. This is the night before we're going to meet them. I walk into your room that you worked really hard to get all clean and find this. A skirt, polo, bracelet on one side for that hand, ring on the other side for that hand, and your barbie make up case. This is just one of a million examples of how GIRLY you have always been. (I LOVE IT) It was so cute but made me think wow you are growing up so fast.

Another one of your fav things to do right now. I can expect to find cute little pictures you've taken on my camera card all the time. You're so funny.

Well Makenzie I'm not ready for you to start Kindergarten it will probably be meltdowns for me for the first little while. I'll be freaking out that I can't protect you. But it will be teaching you a lot about interacting with kids and how to protect yourself so I've gotta let you grow eventually. I'm gonna do my best. I love you so much. You and your brothers and your daddy are my everything. You guys are my best friends and my life would've never been any where near this good with out any of you.
