Is anybody there???
Can we assume the Oscarson contingency in Houston is safe and sound? I'd love more info on how the Hurrican (or lack thereof) affected ya'll. Did you have church today? Was it one big Relief Society meeting to organize relief efforts? What can we do to help? Love you all!

Cubby's Big Day!

This past Sunday Cubby was blessed! It was an amazing experience that we were glad to share with some family--Of course Mo and Papa, Emily and Clark, Bob and Betty, and James' sister Nici (and her hubby and five children) from Austin. James did a beautiful job, and Cubby...he knew it was a special day. By all laws of nature he should have been out like a light for the whole thing. He lay wide awake for the entire blessing, not only looking right at James, but smiling! Then he conked as soon as they came and sat down. How silly I feel for trying to deny him his own special experience! It was all very special for James too--he simply said very humbly, "I bonded with our boy big time today."
Here are a couple of extra pics just for the sake of a visual update of said boy at 6 weeks:

Party of Five

In the great words of Taylor Giles,
"THREE CHEERS FOR THE SCHARMANS!"
I'd like to give a shout out to Mia and say welcome to the world, baby girl! And how 'bout this hot mama--doesn't she look fabulous for having just given birth? Although when you only push for twenty minutes I suppose it doesn't take the pretty out. As someone who was present, I can attest that Emily was a trooper--pushed like a champ! And Clark was able to contain his excitement and didn't ask to catch the baby. For a closer look , ask to see the video!
