Finally!

At last! After 4 long years, Ry's hard work finally paid off. On September 10th Ry claimed his first Idaho elk! Shortly after climbing into his tree stand Ry utilized his elk calling skills and bugled in two bull elk. This spike came to within 8 yards of Ry's tree stand and he shot him with his bow. Elk down!

Hunting for Elk

As everyone knows, Ry highly anticipates the start of Elk season every year! Generally, he forsakes all other animals and only focuses on the elk. But after 2 nights of nothing, he happened upon a cinnamon colored black bear and couldn't resist. No elk yet but at least he's had some excitement. Keep checking back for soon to be elk pictures!
