Baby Shower

My family held a baby shower for Kimberly this weekend. Here are some of the pictures.

35-1/2 Weeks

We just got back from the doctor and all is well. Kimberly is getting increasingly uncomfortable but enduring well. We tentatively scheduled the induction for 27 November 2007. As long as everything continues and Kimberly's "cervix is favorable" (as the doctor loves to say), Bridget will hopefully arrive sometime on that day.

A Favorite Website

Occassionally I (Kimberly) like to do a little online shopping. I'm also a sucker for great deals and coupons. One of my new favorite websites is retailmenot.com. It's got tons of great online coupon codes for different online retailers and tells you the success rate of those codes. I used it to get free shipping for the diaper bag I purchased about a month ago and will be using it again soon to get 25% off the cute little Christmas dress I've found for Bridget. The last lecture of Randy Pausch

Kimberly loves Oprah. It is one of shows she records every day (have to love DVRs). Monday's Oprah was about death and they had a guest, Randy Pausch, who is dying of pancreatic cancer. As a professor at Carnegie Mellon University, he chose to give a "last lecture" that we both found inspirational. Enjoy!

Bridget Alice - Coming Soon

I just had to do this...I guess I am trying to step into being the proud father...

This is from the latest ultrasound. Kimberly was at 33-1/2 weeks and Bridget is measuring a week big, which is perfect for me because I just don't want a December baby.
