Every year in the middle of August I find this single plant on my way to the Supermarket. It shines so bright in all surrounding greenary.

As you know I have a lot on my mind but I always returns a visit.

NF Digital Ar Meme, a meme for digital artwork. photo art and creative work.
The two memes, NF Abstract and NF Digital Art Meme, will take turns. The good thing is that you can post Abstract every week as that is also Digital.

The new meme will allow any kind of digital art. You can post anything from photo art, straight from the camera, to complicated texture work. You can take a shot of your pottery and make it digital. As long as you are the artist. I hope to see some of the black and white artists I often see on Weekend in Black and White. You create good arts in your camera.

It is not nessessary to give all details of your work. An artist must have some secrets and, well, how we did it is most of the time impossible to describe anyway.  And we work with different software.
 

Next week is NF Abstract week. Be sure to visit if you want The optional theme for next DAM.

I´d say this wall had the last colors of fall. I share it to bring light with this lantern in the dark world we presently live in.

Next week is Christmas week and then it is New Year. There will probably not be that many participants so for each week there will be only ONE MEME themed Light in darkness. When I looked at the image of this butterfly I really liked the BOKEH effect on the wings. And then realized that it was the reason for taking the shot. I had giving it a name but now I realized it was the wrong one. :(  So hard to ID them right.

The main techniques here was contrast and negative. I gave the image as much contrast as the software could and then made parts of it negative. :)

I was out paddling that day when this one landed on my kayak. Image from my archives of course. Today we have -16 °C outdoors. This was before I started to ID them so I don´t know what species it is. But I think it looks like a flower on the wing. :)

One problem I have with this kind of shots is to name them. I took this shot in January last year. It was a very foggy, snowy night. The light is a street lamp and the black is a side mirror on a truck. :)
