Get Me My Oreos Daddy!!

So we have a package of Oreos in the house right now. This is a rare occurrence, and the boys are wanting to eat nothing but Oreos. Tonight Liam decided that he wanted them for dinner. Nate and I weren't giving in on this one. Liam begged and begged. He finally got so frustrated, he looked a Nate and said, "Dad, give me my freaking Oreos!" Nate and I both looked at one another in shock. Then we both tried not to laugh. We've never heard that word from either of our older boys.Yes, I'm guilty of using the word freaking and I'm sure that's were he got it from. I guess I'm going to have to be better about what I say.

It's been awhile....

So it's been a bit since my last post. I'll use the new baby as my excuse. :) Just a quick update on the Tippets family... Adam is going to be 10 wks old on Monday. He had his 2 mo. check this past week and he weighed in at 15 lbs 1 oz. and 24 in. long. He is a big 2 mo. old! He was 96% for weight, 88% for height, and only 44% for head circumference. Poor guy, he has a big body and a small head. We think most of his weight is in his cute chubby cheeks! He's doing great and is a wonderful baby.

Alex started 1st grade a few weeks ago. He has a great teacher again this year. He loves school. Like any first grader would tell you, his favorite thing about school is recess. Alex is doing awesome at reading. He began reading chapter books this summer. He was so excited to report this accomplishment back to his kindergarten teacher. His favorite series to read is Junie B. Jones.

Liam is our little comedian. He is quite the computer whiz lately and loves to play computer games. He also loves to follow his big brother around. He enjoys playing outside and riding his bike up and down the sidewalk. His favorite thing to say right now to Nate and I is that he is "going to explode" if we don't do what he requests at that moment. It's pretty funny.

As for me...I'm going back to teaching water fitness classes at the YMCA this week. I've had a nice long maternity leave. It will be good to be back in the water again. I'll be teaching 5 classes a week.

Well, that's a quick update.

Welcome Baby Adam!

We would like to welcome our newest addition to the Tippets family. Adam Byron Tippets was born on June 29 at 9:07 am. He was born at Bergan Mercy Hospital and weighed in at a very large 10 lbs. 8.6 oz. and he was 21.5 in. long. He is doing great. Infact, he's my best baby yet (knock on wood). We're so excited to finally meet him. He looks like Alex but with Liam's dark hair and eyes. Yes, he actually has hair! Something my babies don't usually have. He has just enough on top that I can make a little mohawk. :) He has quite a bit in the back as well. Welcome Adam! We love you sweet baby!
