11 months

What!? Is Beckham seriously 11 months already? How did this happen? He is getting so big and we love him. He still crawls all over the place and gets into everything! He's not walking yet or standing on his own, but think its because he just doesn't want to. I'm totally ok with that! He loves swimming. It's the cutest thing, he splashes and then laughs hysterically at himself. Love it! Anyway, here's some pictures.

Little destructo

Little Beckham has become quite the trouble maker. He loves zooming around the house destroying everything in his path. I knew this day would come, but I was secretly hoping it never would. I feel like my days consist of following him saying "don't touch that, don't eat that, don't chew on that." I do love it though.

His new favorite thing to do it pull all of his books off the book shelf then go to the kitchen and pull out the cookie sheet and then go to the pot holder drawer and throw those on the floor. He thinks it's so much fun!

He sure is a cute little stinker.

Bloggity blog

Lately I've been feeling like I need something else to do. Now that Beckham is getting older and can entertain himself better i have a little more time on my hands. I also miss using my education and feel like I'm forgetting everything I learned at school and from when I was working. So, I decided to start a blog and a little side interior design consulting business.

I plan on using the blog as a way to document all the changes I have in store for our first house, which we are currently on the hunt for. But in the mean time I will just post daily design related info. If all goes as planned, I will eventually get some clients and be able to put my parents hard spent college money to work again!

So go check it out, and tell all your friends, and follow me. K thanks!

9 months of life

Yep it's that time again, time for the monthly update on the little munchkin. He had his 9 month check up today and the doctor said that he is very healthy. He weighs 22 lbs. 12 oz and is 29 3/4 in tall. He's still s big kid, but i like it that way. Anyway, he definitely has a personality now, and a fun one at that. He's such a funny little guy, and he knows it. Heres some facts about Beck at 9 months...
- He started crawling and now zips around the house and gets into everything. He usually follows me wherever I go, I have my own little shadow.
- Stands up on anything and everything and walks along furniture.
- Has stood alone for a few seconds a few times.
- He now has 7 teeth; 3 on top, 4 on bottom
- He eats everything and prefers to feed himself.
- He is still super ticklish like his mama. He squeals when he gets tickled. Sometimes I feel bad because I know how miserable being tickled can be, but it doesn't last long because his little squeal is so cute.
- He loves playing "roll the ball" and he's quite good at it.
- His new favorite food is blueberries and ritz crackers
- He's turned into quite the little flirt. He stares at you until you look at him and then gives a little smile and a gasp and looks away, then does it again.
- He's really mastered his clapping. He claps whenever anyone says yaaay, or when he hears or she's clapping on the tv. So cute!
- he loves sitting by the back door, playing with the blinds and staring at the dogs. It keeps his busy for a while
- His favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse... It might be mine as well...
- he loves hitting the door stop over and over again. It does make a pretty cool sound
- He plays with you lips and tries to stick his little fingers in your mouth when he's tired. It's cute but hurts and gets annoying sometimes
- he's getting cuter and cuter every day!

New obsession

Over the weekend Nate and I started watching Downton Abbey on Netflicks and I am in love! We finished the first season, it's only seven episodes so we really aren't that pathetic, and started the second. So, if you are looking for a good drama to watch I highly recommend it. I promised Nate that I wouldn't watch it without him, but I'm bored and tempted to break my promise. But I won't, maybe...

2 + 6 = OLD

I turned 26 last week and I feel old. I am now officially closer to 30 than I am to 20. I don't know how I feel about that, except I do know how I feel... not good! Anywho, 'twas a good day. Love bug made a delicious breakfast burrito and then brought me yummy chicken for lunch. And the babins took a long nap, which a very appreciated. We went to Mexican food for din din, because that is by far my favorite kind of food. Let me tell you, those waitresses there hate us! We waited for hours for our food. Ok maybe it was like 45 mins, but whatever it was, it was too long! I mean seriously all they have to do it plop some rice and beans in a tortilla and smother it in green sauce and I'm a happy girl. That can't take longer than 3.6 minutes.

After dinner we went to my parents house and ate the most delicious and adorable minney mouse red velvet cupcakes I have ever tasted. Look at those guys, cute right?
And then I opened presents. I really didn't ask for anything so I didn't know what I was getting. Nate surprised me with a KitchenAid! I was so excited. I have wanted one of those forev! I don't particularly enjoy cooking, but I love baking. I can just imagine all the yummies I will make with that machine!
This is the only family picture that sort of turned out. Its hard to take a good picture with a tired, grumpy, fidgety baby.
