Winter Birthday Card

Todays card is a winter birthday card which I have to admit I struggled with a bit as I had to come up with a DT card as well as, my mojo I think has had a day off. The stamped image is a Penny Black, the snowflake on the background of the image is from Crafty Individuals which I stamped in Broken china and embossed using holographic powder , the papers are from Basic Grey....Eskimo Kisses and the background plaid is from Paper Cellar, flowers are from the new capsule collection from Papermania. I recycled a christmas card using the glitter snowflake on the flowers and the glitter strips which are on the ribbon.

I have entered this card in the following challenges: Crazy4Challenges  which has the theme of a Birthday card, Basic Grey have a lovely image as inspiration to follow, Lots to Do have the title winter wonderland, I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday, Polka Doodles have the challenge of using a song title....Cool for Cats by Squeeze, over at Crafty Angels you have to recycle a piece as do Rainbow lady Pink Elephant have the theme of a winter birthday card using two papers and three buttons...I kinda improvised here and used brads instead........ Hoping I'll be let off with my faux pas Polly Craft also have a challenge of doing a winter birthday card.Incy Wincy want you to add bling...I,ve got glitter and diamante brads. Pink Elephant has a birthday challenge, Stamp with fun challenge ths week is Snowflakes and Crafty Angels have the theme of texture, I've snowflakes to the flowers and sparkle to the ribbon.Another challenge that has snowflakes as the theme this week is Everybody Art

Winter Pals

This week at My Time To Craft we have the theme of Winter Pals, I thought I'd have a go at another easel card, quite like these so I followed the sketch from http://basicgreychallenges/ and used eskimo kisses papers as these papers are so pretty at http://allsortschallenge/. the theme this week is to use buttons....nice easy one and the theme at http://thepinkelephantchallenge/. is to use your favourite colouring medium well that has to be Sakura pens as everything at the moment has been coloured in with them.......just love the glittery and subtle effect you get with them. At http://polkadoodle/. the challenge this week is to use 3 papers and a stamp. Over at http://stampwithfun/. the theme is Christmas as is the challenge at http://pollycraftchallenge/ this week . Weather is to be incorporated into any style of card for the challenge at http://www.craftycalendarchallenge/. so being as this is a snowy scene with falling snow flakes thought I'd enter this one as well......Heres a late entry for http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge/. they have the challenge of producing a christmas card using non traditional colours....
