Fishing for Babies

I came home the other night to find Mike fishing with Avery. I guess he wanted to try out his new fishing pole that he got for his birthday. He had attached Avery's binky to the end of the pole and was standing across the room trying to get it in her mouth. Leave it to Dad to come up with that kind of a game.

Ward Trunk or Treat

I was a bad mom and did not dress up Avery for Halloween. I found the t-shirt and socks at Target for $1. Oh well, maybe next year.

First attempt at Rice Cereal

The doctor told us on Friday that we can start trying rice cereal. I was excited to try it, but as you can see (sort of, sorry for the dark pictures) she's not quite sure what to make of it. But we had fun watching her try it.

I'm 4 months old and I love my toes!!!

Avery is now 4 months old and weighing in at 14lbs. 5oz and is 25 inches long. She is still in the 50 percentile for weight and the 75 percentile for height. She loves anything that is flesh, her hands, feet, or our hands.

2 months old check up

Yes I'm a little slow at this whole blogging thing because Avery is almost 3 months now. At her 2 month check-up she weighed 10lbs. 11oz and was 23 inches. She is in the 50 percentile for weight and the 75 percentile for height. We wall know where she got her height from :) She is smiling a lot now and I even got her to laugh a little. She is also sleeping through the night which makes mom very happy!!

Avery was looking extra cute at church and I wanted to get some pictures but as you will see she wasn't too excited about it.

The other day we went for a walk and it put Avery to sleep. We were shocked! She never justs falls asleep.

My friend Luvlyn from work, we were pregnant together. Cameron was born 1 week after Avery. They came to visit us a few weeks ago. Avery had fun meeting her new friend.
