Aka my eldest daughter. Anyway, I had to write a quick blurb about this one thing she does that I absolutely love. She is always in the middle of like 5 chapter books at a time, and when she puts the book down, she pretty much just grabs whatever to use as a bookmark. Some of my favorite things she has used include: a hair elastic, a plastic slice of bacon, bead bracelets, a random sliver necklace...you get the idea. Literally, whatever happens to be about the right size and within reach. Yes, we have provided bookmarks in the past, but they got lost immediately and she doesn't really care for them anyway. Except for this cool shark one she got from Grandma C, which we have managed to hang onto and use to keep our place for Book of Mormon reading. I know, so spiritual, right? Anyway, she is such a fun little girl. Growing up way too fast, but still wonderful.
