Lee the Pee Turned 3

If you ask Lee what his name is he says "mee the pee", probably since that is what we have called him since he was born. I can't believe that he is 3. He is such a big boy and just in time to move up to be a sunbeam in January.
My big brother Dennis and his family spent the week of Christmas at Disneyland and were able to come by for Lee's Birthday party. It was so fun to have them here, especially fun since Mark ended up working really late and he missed it. Dennis is a captain in the Air force and leaves for Jordan in March for 6 months. This was there big family vacation before he leaves. He will miss his oldest sons graduation from high school and will not be there to see him off to collage. I am so proud of his service for our country.

Lee came to the party as batman this year. Last year he was superman. I have never seen any kid dress up as much as him. He practically lives in this costume and it shows. It took me FOREVER to convince him the other day that he did not need to wear batman to the doctor. I finally talked him down to just the mask. He is so funny.

I love how excited Molly is for him.

Oh what do I say about Lee the Pee. He is wildest most crazy little punk in the whole world. I would be lying if I said he was my little angel. One minute he is causing havoc everywhere he goes like a tornado not caring what or WHO is in his way, then the next he is showering me with hugs and kisses with the sweetest little smile. We love him even wen he is karate chopping us, doing his batman moves, wrestling us when we don't want to wrestle, breaking things, or smacking random peoples butts at the store ( this happened more than once). How could we not love this cute little boy who loves to do photo shoots.

Trick or Arhhhg..........

Halloween Part 1
We started Halloween off with Molly's Costume parade at school. I was lazy this year and made her pick from her the many costumes in her dress up box. Nevertheless, she looked so cute and was so excited to show off her costume to all her friends at school.

When I saw this picture I thought "who is that big girl?" She looks so grown up. I can't believe how time flies when you are raising children.

Part 2
The kids made out like bandits at our ward party. Lee had to come back to the car and dump out his bucket to make room for more. Lee was so cute. He has been obsessed with pirates ever since we started going to Disneyland weekly and riding the Pirates of the Caribbean. He realized people would give him more candy if he said arrhhhg like a pirate. Pretty soon he quite saying trick or treat and just said arrhhgg in his best pirate voice.

Our CUTE little bumblebee

Part 3
We weren't going to let our kids trick or teat on sunday but a couple of our neighbors (a really nice grandpa, and a couple of single girls) told us that even though they never get trick or treaters they bought candy this year just for or kids. It was so nice of them so we let the kids dress up and and knock on there doors. We have been blessed with some great neighbors.
Lee's face is so funny. "Mom I'm eating my candy. I can't smile."

My BIG girl!!!

Ginger turned 6 months old on October 4th. We can't believe how fast she has grown. She is such a beautiful little girl and good little baby. She brings so much joy and laughter into our home. She is so easy going. She puts up with so much from her older siblings (namely Lee) and always has a great big smile for her anyone who looks at her. Our big girl is sitting up and crawling now. lately every time I take my eyes off of her I find her under the table or off in a corner trying to eat anything she can find and put in her mouth. She is a busy little girl and we love her so much!

WAHOO for Kindergarten!

Molly had her FIRST day of Kindergarten yesterday. I thought I would cry and weep like a baby the first day my baby girl went to big kid school. I thought that I would be sad all day and miss her like crazy but...... I didn't cry or weep like a baby, I did however miss her throughout the day here and there. I did let out a sigh as she walked away. Not a I'm so glad she is gone sigh but I can't believe she is so big sigh. It was hard to be sad when she was so happy and excited. She has been ready for this FOREVER. I asked her when she got home if she missed me she said "no, well maybe a little". Then I asked her if she was nervous she said "no, I was excited". I am so excited to see her grow and learn.

Mark told me a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to be the one to take her to her first day of school. I was all for it. I think that this will be a good tradition for our family. Molly was so excited to have Daddy take her to school.

Undies are the best!!!!!

LEE
We have ourselves one potty trained little boy in the Olsen household (not a moment too soon I am sick of buying diapers for 2 babies). Once he realized undies are better for holding swords and tools he was all for it. Aren't his muscles HUGE!

So it's been a while but we are here and alive. So much has happened these last few months. I dont even know where to begin. Here it is from the top.....

Baby Ginger was blessed by her daddy just before we left Ohio.

She already hated getting her picture taken. Every picture I took ether looked like this...
or like this.

We left Ohio a little early and had to fly back for Graduation. It was kind of fun to only have 1 child again. I didn't realize how much Ginger is neglected with the other too always needing something. I was able to love her and hold her all I want without. Mark and I both kept saying the whole trip what a sweet little baby she is. She was seriously so good the whole trip plane ride and all.

Congrats Dr. Olsen. We are so PROUD of him. It was a long and sometimes hard but mostly fun 4 years. I can't believe it is over. We miss Ohio and everyone there so much.

Did I mention the week before we flew back to ohio the three of us took a trip to CA to find a place to live while Molly and Lee had fun with their cousins. Those 3 days were the most stressful days of our life. Absolutely everything that could possible go wrong went wrong and just when we were about to give up hope we finally found a place. It was the very last rental we looked at on our way out of town. It was a ray of sunshine after all the other holes we looked at. Don't misunderstand it's no mansion or anything but way better than anything else we looked at.

SO we are here now. Having fun and going to the beach a whole bunch, which really is not fun with a 3 month old. Taking the kids by myself is totally crazy and I get the strangest looks from people but I must look like a crazy women with my baby on my chest, chair on my back, beach bag on my shoulder, and umbrella and baby tent in my hands with two very slow kids trailing behind me. Mark is really busy and seems to be on call A LOT but he is loving the program so far. I already hate his dang pager.

Surf boards right in the middle of the hallway. Mark is in Heaven being able to surf again. I know they look gross and dirty but in his defense we have nowhere else to put them.

Baby Ginger is growing so fast. She is full of gurgles and coos and smiles and giggles. We all love her so much and somedays when I think we might go insane in our tiny little home she brings me some sanity with her preciousness.

Ginger Lynn Olsen

Our little Easter Baby
What a great little present the Easter Bunny brought us for Easter. Ginger was born on Easter Sunday at 2:30 am. She was...
7lb 9oz
19 1/2 Inches
We love her so much! She is the sweetest little thing. The kids just can't stop kissing and loving on her. I am so happy to finally have her here with us.

When I down loaded these pictures after we got home from the hospital I received a little surprise from Molly. Apparently she did not want me to forget my hospital experience so she took some lovely pictures to help me remember.
