Summer is almost over

I can't believe the summer is almost over. I feel like we have been so busy and yet we have done nothing:) We have had great weather, can't comlain about that. I need to work on updating some photos, I will work on that. In the meantime hope everyone is well and I will update the blog soon.

Welcome Coleston!

Congratulations to our great friends Luke and Alyssa Perkins who just welcomed a new addition to their family. Coleston James was born March 18th, 2009! We love you all and we are very excited for your family.

The Economy Strikes Again

Nick was offered a job in California which he accepted. Three days before he left for California he received an e-mail (yes an e-mail, not even a phone call) informing him that the job no longer exists. Therefore he remains in Colorado! We are excited that he will be staying home but upset that he is not doing the job he had hoped to be AND he turned down other positions for the one in California! Ughh. Hopefully he will be able to find what he is looking for soon! Hang in there Nick!

California

Nick was offered a flight instructor position at Sierra Academy in Atwater, California (near Fresno). He will be leaving Colorado on Saturday February 21st. We are thrilled that Nick will be working in the profession that he loves but sad that he will live apart from Angie for 10 months. Keep us in your thoughts and we wish Nick best of luck and safe travels:)
