A Blessing!
I know this doesn't look like much of a blessing, but it is! My parents and I along with Addy and Olivia were headed home from Logan. We had just spent the day with family for Treys baptism!
We were on I-15 headed south and had just past 2600 North in NSL. We were just about to hit the pointless and never-ending construction zone that reminds you somewhat of a the Luge in the Olympics...
When we started to slow down, the worst possible sound and in your mind knowing that you are and were going to be hit by another driver.
We were hit going 65-70 mph. The women behind us went underneath my dads truck and we were slammed into the car in front of us. We were in the second far left lane and end up right next to the cement wall that divides North/South Freeway.
That moment couldn't have happened more slowly but at the same time so fast and within a blink of an eye couldve changed everything. We were all wearing our seat belts and walked away from the accident safe and sound.
Addy is a bit shaken up but is starting to come back around and knows that we are all alright. Liv seems no worse for wear. When they were picked up by my wonderful in-laws and were taken to their home where they continued to feed and comfort the rest of my family that came down from Logan. Liv said Papa Ottie (papa scottie) I ungy which is I hungry! She seemed to lighten the mood and put smiles and laughs on faces. And she was hungry.....6 Mickey Nuggets and Doritos!
I however, was taken to the U being 26 weeks pregnant. The baby and myself are fine. I was observed for 24hrs and was able to come home late Sunday evening. I couldn't get home fast enough. There was a funny part to this whole thing. When I was taken into the ER at the U. Being a "Trauma" patient the name you Trauma and then whatever letter they are on for the day. Saturday was "J". My name the entire time at the U was "Trauma Junction". I was no-longer Brynn. I am starting to think that maybe just maybe this baby will be named T.J. (yes I am kidding) I have a bruises from the seat belt and everyday continue to become more sore, but I will take a MILLION bruises and aches and pains instead of what couldve happened.
We have had an overwhelming amount of love and support from family and friends. Madi my niece and her boyfriend Brady took over my household and took such good care of my girls. I never once was worried that they weren't ok or loved. I am truly grateful and blessed to have such a wonderful family.
I can't stress the importance of buckling up and checking your children's car-seats and boosters. That morning Mac checked the girls car-seats over and over. How grateful I am for him and doing that!
So, grab your kids and loved ones and hug them. You never know how fast things can change.

Proud Parents of Student of the Month
We got a letter last week letting us know that Addy was going to be Student of the Month for having the most Integrity! I of coursed cried when they called her name...Like I said before she is getting WAY TO BIG!
Addy turns 6 on 01/06!
Still can't believe that my baby Addy is 6! Time has gone by way too fast and she is getting so big. She had a great birthday! Happy Birthday Addy, we love you!
Ringing in the New Year!
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1....Happy 2010! We had a great New Years. We had Dan and Staci's family down and the Muhlestein gang over. It's always fun counting down with the kids at 10pm putting them to bed and having fun adult time!

Christmas
Ok, so I am really lame this is ALL the pictures I have of Christmas isn't that sad?! But it was such a fun Christmas I didn't even think to take pictures because I was enjoying the kids so much. However, we had a great relaxing Christmas!
The Reason for the Season
A Thompson tradition. After the fun and games and the lovely talent show we always end with our nativity. My fav, little Zoie getting into the crib with baby Jesus and poking its eyes and she did it so motherly and sweet!
