Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was interesting. If I'm being honest I really dislike having Mother's Day on Sunday. I wish it were on a Saturday. Spend some of the time with family and then take off and get lunch and a pedicure.Instead I had really bad kids to deal with in sacrament. Sammy was so bad I had to take her out and I missed the kids singing to me. At least my morning was good. Luke and the kids brought me breakfast in bed, and then I was showered with cute homemade gifts. Sammy gave me a purse and she had to draw what was inside it. She drew a Target gift card in there. That's my girl!!

Also I was given my gift a couple weeks before. A new car!! Our old one needed a new transmission. It had 140,000 miles on it and it just wasn't worth fixing. I was a brave woman and let Luke go pick it out. He came home and surprised me with my dream van. Leather, DVD player, navigation system. We love it!

I feel so blessed to have 4 beautiful kids. They are definitely spunky and sassy but I wouldn't have it any other way. There are many days when it's hard but there are also many days where it's so worth it.

Parker's preschool graduation

My crazy but loveable Parker finished preschool. I was having a hard time with this. This means that I will have 3 kids in Elementary school!! Say what?!? Parker was adorable and had been practicing his part for months. He said "I worked all year for this degree, there now aren't you proud of me?" He had the same teachers that Nicholas and Sammy had. I love them and how great they are to my kids. I know I have said it many many times but I LOVE ABC preschool. I'm so grateful my kids have all been able to go there. For the first time in 5 years I have a little break. It will be kind of nice.
One of the best things about the graduation was Parker's hat was in his face the whole time. It was cute.

Love this picture of him singing. His mouth is wide open.
 Hat in his eyes.

Sammy's Kindergarten Play

In April Sammy had her Kindergarten play. These are my favorite plays. The play was called E I Oops! Sammy played a Chick and she played the part so well. I loved seeing Sammy outside of her comfort zone. I wish I could find a dancing singing group here. She loves that kind of thing.

Easter

We had a fun but HOT easter this year. The kids looked adorable in their Easter attire and we had a fun egg hunt.

Spring Break

Spring Break this year was great. We did a lot of fun things that were cheap or free. I didn't take pictures of everything. It was a nice break from the hectic school/sports schedule we have. Only thing that would have made it better would be for Luke to have it off too. We went swimming, out to lunch, to movies, a park that has big horn sheep, and sky zone.

I have gone at least a dozen times to this park to see these so called sheep people tell me about. I have never seen them before. We finally saw them and they were amazing. Such a fun experience.

I also gave each of the kids a pair of sunglasses. The excitement of that lasted about 2 days and who knows where they are now.

I saw some a great deal on Groupon for SkyZone so I snatched some up for the family. It was a fun thing to do. Something very different for us. The minute they let us in we never gone saw Nick. He was in heaven. I think he hung out by the dodgeball area the whole time.

Baseball

From March to June Baseball is our life. This was our first year having 2 boys play. Luke coached Parker's  t-ball team. Nick was finally old enough to play in a more competitive league. It was so much fun seeing him play and I'm not going to lie I might have screamed really loud and a lot during the season. What can I say, I am one of those moms. Nick played mostly 2nd base and he was really good at it. He just came natural to him.

This was Parker's first year at baseball. He has been waiting for this day for a long time. He loved having Luke as his coach. He was also very lucky to have his cousin Jack on the team. It was fun thing for them to do together before they left us and moved :( Tball is a different story. It's crazy and lucky me was able to be the dugout mom. Let's just say I was a little frazzled trying to keep 12 5 year olds contained and trying to make sure Noah didn't run out on the field. One day I will be able to just sit and watch my kids. Just me on my chair with a Diet Coke in hand. Ahhh that sounds nice. We were super excited when baseball season ended. The picture of Parker with the harmonica is priceless. He got this thing from who knows where. Eww gross. Well he put it in his pocket without us knowing. I couldn't be at his game because Nick had a game at the same time. All of a sudden I get at least 5 texts from friends saying that my son is playing the harmonica in outfield. Typical Parker thing to do. I so wish I was there to see it.

Zockoll Cousins

Back in March my sisters came to Vegas for a week and it was so much fun! It's hard not being by my sisters sometimes. We have a lot of fun and I love seeing my kids with their children. We went out to eat a lot, and to the park a lot. My kids are always sad to see them go home, and so am I.
