Winter Fun

Just wanted to share some cuteness with you all… enjoy…

Let the Party Begin

It is amazing how many Christmas parties there are. First there is work party, then with your youth (if you are in youth ministry), then family (both sides), then if you have a kid all the Santa visits that happen on various locations… This year we already visited Santa at Andrej’s dad’s medical practice and one here in our village. It is SO much fun to see all people and see Eva how she is experiencing this time of year. She is still afraid of people pretending to be someone else and is not really sure about Santa yet. But it has been a nice experience of exploring new worlds through Eva’s eyes.

Here are some pictures of our party with the youth.

Christmas Decorations Early this Year

A typical Slovene family decorates their Christmas tree on the night of the 24th of December, so on Christmas night as we call it. Well, the Americans decorate way before, which we thought it is kind of fun, especially if you have kids. So this year we’ve decided for a change. We invited our team, Brad, Laurel, Landon and Jackson, and also my mom to come one Saturday, spend all day together and do nothing but enjoy each others company while decorating the tree. It proved to be an incredible day, full of rest and fun and here are some highlights of our time together.

Big task before us

No problem though with a little help from a friend

Everybody helping while my mom is holding Jackson (the youngest of the bunch)

All done

No off to drawing

And playing in the bed

And having lots of fun in the bathtub
