There's a poop in there!

Whenever Evan goes potty in his diaper he always says, "there's a poop in there," while pointing to his diaper. I am in NO RUSH to potty train him, but he may have other plans. Saturday he sat on the potty 3 times, and just hung out. We sang Halloween songs (He is obsessed with anything Halloween lately), and read books. Today he woke up and wanted to sit on the potty. I put him on and went to go get some books. When I came back he had already gone, not quite in the potty, (apparently I need to get a guard for little boys), but I still count it. Later he wanted to try again. This time he made it in the potty and was so excited. I can't believe he is doing this all by himself, I'm so glad! He also tried again before church and a little tiny pebble came out. I know this is TMI, but I'm so proud of my little guy!!!

Beautiful tulips

While my sister was here visiting we went to Mount Vernon to see the tulip fields. We was raining on our way, and we almost chickened out, but I'm so glad we didn't. It stoped raining when we got there, and it wasn't so bad. It was pretty muddy and Kyleigh liked that she could "ice skate". She only fell in the mud once. Heehee!

I love tulips!!! Especially the ones that have the fringes on them.
Evan wasn't having any fun, in fact he was out of sorts. I thought it was weird that he was acting so strange, and then he wouldn't eat or drink, he just wanted to be held. He also slept a lot on the way and on our way back.

Not a happy camper. We stopped at Smokey Point to meet my brother, and Evan was just not right. I took him out of his seat for some fresh air. He said he was cold and I put him on my lap while we waited. He finally was drinking, and eating some apple. I thought he was starting to choke, but nope, he puked all over me. Thank goodness it didn't get anywhere inside my sisters car. Very calmly we got out and I took off my coat which was covered as well as my pants. Luckily I had a change of clothes for Evan, but not so lucky for me. Oh the life of a mom. He felt much better after that, I couldn't wait to shower! My sister thought the whole thing was hilarious!

Oh Canada!!!

There was an open house for the new temple in Canada, and a good friend and I decided to take our kids. It was such a fun trip, and it was neat to walk through the temple with our kids, so they could see how beautiful it was on the inside, as well as outside. Evan especially loved the flowers, and he picked on to prove it, oops! It was great, though my kids were climbing all over and really busy, it was so worth it.

Easter 2010

We dyed some Easter eggs with our good friends in the neighborhood, and then went to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. The kids had a blast and Evan ate his candy as fast a possible. No one was going to take his basket away from him!

Kyleigh was so fast running around trying to find the eggs, she loves going on egg hunts.

Swimming lessons

We started Kyleigh in swimming lessons and she loves it. Evan gets to hang out with me and watch, but he loves to color and play with stickers during her lesson so it works. She is doing so well, and she loves her teacher. I am so proud of you Kyleigh, you are doing an awesome job! You even put your head under the water now, with only a little hesitation.

Dress-up and other stuff

Kyleigh and her crayon bank she dressed-up, which freaked me out a couple of times in the middle of the night, LOL!

Playing at Grandma Lothyan's house!

Don't let this cute little butterfly fool you. Leave him alone for a few minutes and you have pretty artwork on your walls, SWEET!

Relaxin'

One morning when I went into Evan's room, this is how I found him, just relaxing with a good book. Funny kid!
