Brynn had fun looking through pictures and creating her own slide show. She said she had great difficulty in editing. I think she had a lot of fun.

Thanks Hank!

Meet Hank. He is layered with a wonderfully rich and moist dark chocolate cake with a little fudge frosting and cheesecake topped off with the yummiest chocolate frosting....is your mouth watering? He served us well and gave us all a few extra pounds to love. He welcomed both Dan and Brynn into a new year and had plenty left over to share with lots of friends. He was a good friend, and will be missed by all!

Hank was still around on Thursday to give Brynn the chance to blow out a candle...I was too caked out to make her a new one, she didn't seem to care or notice.

A night with dad

The kids have been begging to go camping, so Dan obliged them and off they went to a little campground about 30 minutes from here on the river. He forgot to get pictures of their campsite, but took some of the fun they had the next day. I wasn't up for the adventure with Drake, so we had a lovely night to ourselves at home.

Can you guess what happened?

Step one, grap your old bread and head to the closest duck pond.
Step two, allow your baby to get really close to the shore.
Step three, watch him topple over onto the cement shore.
Step four, watch him roll right into that most disgusting pond water.
Step five, quickly pick him up out of the water ( in which he was face down) and thank you stars that he is crying which means he is breathing.
Step six, run home, take a picture, strip off wet clothes and take a bath!

Drake's First Birthday Party

The Circus came to town for Drake and Drew's birthdays. My friend and I combined the boys party and thanks to her amazing party planning skills we had the best party ever! Kohl was throwing up at home and is very bummed to have missed out on the fun.

Book Club Fun

Once a year we skip the whole "in-depth" book discussion and just treat ourselves to a night out. Thanks to Millie I have pictures of most of the ladies. There are a few who must have refused to get their picture taken. It was a large crowd and I have to say that after the dinner I decided that I like smaller dinner groups. The food was supper yum and I had a lot of fun, but I like to be able to see and hear everyone I am eating with. The night did not end with dinner, we took advantage of the night out and saw "My Sister's Keeper". I cried like a baby, but was shocked at the end when the directors decided to change the story line...no good!

As you can see I decided to chop the hair off...here is your picture, Lisa!
