Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Cleaning & Coughing

Mom's been cleaning again.
This picture from a couple years ago shows some of our sun room.
That's the room where the guinea pigs live. You can see the bag of pine shavings in the background. It's kind of dusty stuff, plus it gets tracked all over the house.
They eat timothy hay too and that also gets all over the carpet when she feeds them and cleans their cages. We all love the piggies but they sure are messy.
Mom's been sick with the crud that's been going around. Started out as a stuffy head & sore throat and body aches. Now it has taken up residence in her chest and she has to take antibiotics. She has asthma so its hard to get rid of once it settles in. Coughing a lot.
Anyway, we are enjoying bright sunny days. Our lovely fall weather continues to hold on.

Yuck! Sickies are no fun...we made our Mommy get a flu shot early this year cuz if she gets sick it settles in her chest, too. And we can't sleep when she's coughing! We Cats need our rest, you know.
We'll send 13 BIG purrs your way for your Mom.

Mommy claims if you raise your blood alcohol level high enough, the virus can't replicate! That's her theory and she's sticking with it.

Lots of purrs to your mom that she feels better soon.

Our mom's former building custodian always swore by a shot of whiskey to keep the germs at bay. (So she likes the Katnip Mom's theory!)

Thanks for stopping by my moms blog. She has not taken any photos of me lately as I have not been that interesting. Just you know the usual, sleeping, going outside and eating. Am sure enjoying the nice weather...better then the last couple years. I have been keeping a close eye on those noisy geese that fly over our house every day. Some get rather close.
I also have a new friend, it is a bunny who sits in the backyard in the evenings. One evening mom let me out on the deck (in my harness and leash) and bunny and I looked at each other for about 20 min. I was good and did not even chase her.

I will meow to mom to post some pics of me on the site. She has been very busy with sewing...says that there are some new "sitcky people" coming into the world and they need stuff. Just for the record they are not the mom's grandbabies yet.

Stay well over there.
Dusty.
