We haven't had the chance to announce another GREAT grandchild for Grandma Martha.  Tessa Eve was born  December 31st.  

Here are a couple pictures of her baby blessing.  

Also some fun news is that we will soon be moving to Olympia Washington area and look forward to seeing more of Ammon and family in Seattle and Jeff and family in Portland.

Dear Family,

We enjoyed the reunion at the mansion.  A beautiful setting at the foot of the mountain.  It was roomy enough for all.  Thank you Lucy for all the organization in a short period of time.  I think the highlight was meeting Chad and listening to Mom put him through the ringer.  Good sport Chad, and welcome to the family.  Lucky Penny!  It was great talking about childhood memories and the great appreciation and love we all feel for Mom.  I was also happy that Cody was on his best behavior and got so much petting and loves from everyone.

March 22 & 23 was a perfectly beautiful weekend for our reunion.  Lots of memories were shared, lots of visiting, and lots of playing.  What will you want to remember about this reunion?  What did you enjoy the most?  Would you like to do this again at a place like this for our next reunion?  Please share!

Bryan in "Anything Goes"

This first spring quarter of 2014...Priscilla in Stake Primary has enjoyed ward pinewood derbies,and ward conferences, meeting with ward primary presidencies and attending ward primaries being involved in a variety of ways.  I've had this calling 3 1/2 years but I have all new counselors and secretary and they have the energy to go go go!   My job at the junior high school is okay and keeps me involved in knowing what is going on there. I enjoy being Isaiah's mom there as well as at home.  I've helped out a little with the Snowlfake Lobos Music Booster club in fundraisers (selling things at basketball and baseball games) and feeding dinner to the musical cast during big rehearsals.   I'm proud to be Bryan's mom, I just don't see him very much with all the rehearsing he has been doing for the high school musical he is participating in - an edited with permission- version of Anything Goes.  I was privileged to see it Friday night.  It was excellent.  I laughed alot.  Today Bryan's picture is on the front page of the White Mountain Independent, Show Low, AZ newspaper.  He looks so handsome dancing with Mariah Moore.  A couple of weeks ago the free weekly local paper, The Silver Creek Herald listed James and Hyrum on ASU's dean's list, so I know they're doing well in school.  Jim enjoyed his spring break last week by hiking the Grand Canyon.  Hyrum, James, Jim's sister Trish and her husband Bob and two of Jim's students from Tuba City joined him. We enjoyed the Gilbert Temple dedication (it was broadcast in the Stake Centers in AZ) and I was able to see the youth celebration on Youtube later.  (The BYU Folkdance Ensemble was here performing in Snowflake that same evening.)  I especially enjoyed getting a glimpse of Nickole's children in it via Facebook.

I still love our local temple and dabbling in family history and familysearch indexing.

Looking forward to the Lindgren reunion this weekend!

Hello Family!
Here is a brief summary of what is going on with our family since the 2013 Winter edition of the Lingo.

Snow in Georgia - January

Ariane served in Lafayette, Georgia the first six months of her mission.  She was transferred to Morristown, Tennessee the middle of February.  She’s getting to know the area, working hard, and adding new words to her southern vocabulary all the time.

Marcus and Kevin continue to live with us while they work, trying to earn and save enough money so that eventually they’ll be able to move out and live on their own.  Both of them tried the YSA ward early on, but then chose to stay in the family ward. Marcus is the 3rd Sunday Elder’s Quorum teacher.  Kevin is a ward missionary, plays the piano for the boys ranch’s Sunday meetings, and is on the institute council.

Engaged!

Penny just became engaged to Chad Wallace last weekend.  They both live in the same apartment complex in Provo.  They plan to be married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple on Friday, June 27.  We are very happy for them! Penny has three jobs, but each one varies with the hours she works.  Her most recent one is at the U of U where she will be doing Health assessments full time during May and June.  Until then it is one or two days each month.  She is the temple coordinator in her ward and helps teach the temple preparation class.

Daniel played the part of Japeth in Michael McLean’s musical, “The Ark” at the Draper Historic Theatre in February.  He seems to enjoy his job testing out those new go-pro camera’s so he can be knowledgeable and helpful to those needing technical support with them.

Heather continues doing a variety of things besides work, like dancing and singing.  She drops in on Grandma Martha often to bring her library CD’s or groceries. She also helps her with filing. She took Katherine and David to see the theatrical production of “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse” at UVU’s Norda Theater a few weeks ago, and then they spent the night with her… what a wonderful aunt!

Jason has been working in his yard every chance he gets so he can get their vegetable garden growing.  They haven’t been able to do this since they moved from Hyde Park two years ago.  They are really enjoying their ward and their neighborhood friends.

Last weekend James and Lynnette started moving from their apartment in Fort Union to Diane and Manfred’s home in Bluffdale.  They will be house sitting for them while they are on their mission for 18 months at the Hill Cumorah and surrounding church historical sites.  Lynnette is especially excited to have a little farm to take care of and to be able to plant her own vegetables.

Alan and I were serving as Saturday morning shift coordinators at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple until February.  We were released from that assignment so that we could have more time during the week for our ward and stake callings.  However, we continue to serve as regular ordinance workers every Saturday morning.  We love it too much to give it up completely. 

We’re looking forward to the reunion.  Thank you Lucy for getting it all organized. We’ll be seeing you soon.
