Birthday Presents - Part 1

This year I did something that I've never done before...
I told my kids what I wanted for my birthday.
I actually sent them emails!
Bless their hearts - they came through with flying colors:-)

I've got a pretty sweet pantry - no doubt about it.
BUT - I wanted to make it neater,
more organized.
It has started to get a little messy...
so with the help of
CanOrganizer
from a couple of fantastic daughters,
my pantry went from this...
To THIS!
These things are a great alternative to expensive
metal organizers.
Oscar Jr. went to work, and had all 20 of them
put together in about 30 minutes.

You just drop your cans in the top and they roll down to the bottom.
First in - first out:-)
They are sturdy enough, to add extra cans on top!
If anyone is interested - head on over to CanOrganizer.
They have 2 different sizes, and a tutorial video,
showing how to put them together.
Order with a friend and save money on postage!

It's my Baby's Birthday

Happy Birthday Sonnie - I love you!!!
I can't believe that my baby is 20 today.
Seems like only yesterday, that I was bringing
her home from the hospital.

Draper Temple

It started to get a bit overcast,
but it just served to cool the air.

Poor Eve - she got sick on the way up the mountain...
so she stayed in the car with Kyeng-hee
while Ethan and I walked around and took photos.
Looking out across the area to the right of the temple.
One of the gorgeous homes off to the left on the temple.

Kennecott Copper Mine

Kyeng-Hee:: "Mom, do you want to go to the copper mine?"
Me: "What's there?"
Kyeng-Hee: "A big hole."
Me: "Let's go for it!"

Kennecott Bingham Canyon Copper Mine.
A Big Hole is an understatement!

This truck doesn't look that big, does it?

But here you can see the actual size.
Take a look at the man standing beside the tire
on the left side.

Yep - that is the size of just ONE tire:-)

We had a great time touring the visitors center
and the gift shop.

Macro Monday

Each morning when I take the dogs out
I'm greeted by these flowers.
And they are teaming with activity.
Here's a closer look.
Now I need to buzz around being as busy as a bee:-)

Provo Temple and BYU

On my 3rd day with Kyeng-hee, Ethan, and Eve...
we spent the entire day seeing the sights.
Our first stop was in Provo.
To learn more about the Provo Temple
go HERE.
We went to the Provo Temple.
Me and the kids.
Just look at the blue sky and fluffy white clouds.
Eve - Kyeng hee - Ethan
What a beautiful view.
Looking out behind the temple.
Now looking out with the temple behind me.
The MTC is right across the street.
We drove through the BYU Campus.
The Gordon B. Hinkley Visitors Center.
Check out the sign...Wisdom Teeth Only.
This is because all the young missionaries get
their wisdom teeth removed before heading out
their 2 year missions:-)

Next stop...Jordon River!

Just Another Reason Why I Love My Husband

Before I go to bed.
When I get up in the morning.
The sweet man does this without asking because...
