New Joys in my Life...

Joy is being with a child as they go to the temple for the first time. Alicia chose the Colonia Juarez Temple so that she could share this special day with her Grandma Johnson. The scriptures tell us that children walking in righteous paths bring joy to their parents. This is so true, Alicia has always brought us lots of joy. We love ya Alicia!!

Joy is meeting our new daughter-in-law, Ashley, for the very first time and to see the smile on Kyle's face. There is joy in knowing that your children are happy. They are looking forward to the birth of their baby at the end of the year.

Joy is having a grandbaby to love but especially to see her parents striving to raise her in the way we know to be true. You are doing a great job Nick and Ivette!!

Freedom at last..

Danielle has been a happy camper since she has returned to the country life. She is a country girl through and through. Here she is on her horse, Queenie. When we drove into town she ran in to hug her grandma and then she was off to jump on her horse. She looked like a pro riding her. The next day she definately knew that it had been 3 years....

First Things First...

Introducing our grandbaby...YAIZAH. How we enjoyed having her around for a few days. It was way too short but we did enjoy every minute of it. I wasn't sure what was going to replace my missionaries...I think I found it.

Home Sweet Home!

Gone are the black name tags and Lep and Deb are back. We are still trying to get settled in and adjusted to normal life..whatever that is! We wondered what it would be like to be back. As we flew over Chihuahua and I looked out the window I was a bit worried. It was so dry and brown.
