Kelsey had another tournament over the weekend. Her team really struggled. They had moved them up to another division, because they had taken 1st in their division at the last tournment. I wish them better luck on their tournament in March!!! They will have to practice hard.

Steve and I had the kids this past weekend while Jake and Lindsay went to Wyoming. They were looking for cities they are considering for their new home. They really like Lander....either way, I am sad to see them move away.

Katelynn and Tagg were both not feeling well, but we had fun anyway. Katelynn made a piggy bank out of a liter bottle and tissue paper. It turned out really cute. I forgot to take a picture. I will have to get Lindsay to take one and post it.

We had another Saturday of volleyball with Kelsey in Salt Lake. This tournament was a one day tournament. Her team had their pool play and then started the tournament late in the afternoon. Between games she either referereed or was able to rest while other teams played. Her team took FIRST in the Division 2 Gold bracket. We were very excited for her.
Way to go Kelsey!!

I was going through our Christmas pictures from December and found this picture of our friends Frances and Norm. She didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but we made her anyway. I told her I would post this picture, so to be good to Santa. You can see that she wasn't very happy about it. (hee, hee)

We had a marathon volleyball weekend. Kelsey played in her first tournament. It was a real eye opener for Steve and me. She had three games on Friday at the IVA center in Salt Lake. They won all three games. The night went something like this - play, ref, play, ref, rest play. The started at 4:00 p.m. and ended around 9:30. Saturday morning they were back at it again. She had to be at the The Factory at 8:15 a.m. and ended at 7:15 p.m. They played 3 games Saturday morning and won two out of the three. Her team also had to ref between games. They then played in the finals and lost their first game. Her team took 14th place. There were so many teams and games going on at the same time. It made my head spin. Next time we will be more prepared and take a book or movie to watch during the down times.

Steve has a new camera that he is learning how to use and is doing an excellent job. We had him set up his tripod and take a few pictures of the entire family. We have been trying to do this for the last couple of years, but could never get everyone together.
Lindsay planned it for a Christmas present to us. We were excited to get new pictures. We still need to learn to do a little editing in photoshop, but for now this is what we have.
