Vatican: Jesus was the original tweeter

Jack Dorsey, step aside -- you may be Twitter's first registered user (and hey, founder), but in the eyes of the Vatican, Jesus Christ is the original tweeter.

“Christ used tweets before everyone else, with elementary phrases made up of fewer than 45 characters like 'Love one another,'" said Vatican cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi to a group of Italian newspaper editors Wednesday. "A bit like in television today, he delivered a message through a story or a symbol."

There you go. Jesus knew modern social media more than 2000 years ago. You must read his tweets to live a good and happy life and life hereafter.

Twitter and wonders of nature

Dmitry Medvedev, the President of Russia, stopped by the US to sign up for a twitter account before coming to Toronto for the G8 and G20. Barack Obama already had a twitter account. Quite popular eh! Don't get too lost in the twitter stuff.

However, before there was a telephone, Internet and twitter there were these pigeons - the messengers. I read somewhere that they were used extensively for this purpose in the olden days. Even some people use them to this day, in rural areas, in developing countries just for fun. Pigeons were and are nature's telephone, Internet and twitter. They exactly knew/know where they were/are supposed to deliver a message and where to return. Everyday I live in absolute bewilderment about the wonders of nature. Evolution thought of everything, eh! ;)

Wolf Blitzer just got a twitter account, he couldn't stop talking about it. He kept going tweet tweet on his Situation Room yesterday. What is up with this twitter business? I intend to stay away from it.

Sarah Palin is going to Twitter

I actually like Sarah Palin. She is attractive and... okay she is attractive but to be a national leader? Com'n. Brains are needed.

She abruptly came on the national scene and as abruptly became a fodder for the comedians. Now she has resigned as Governor of Alaska and she wants to Twitter full time. She says she will make more real and honest entries for Twitter now. Does that mean she was not real and honest before? Anyway good luck to her and happy twittering.
