Misc. Pictures

We didn't get nearly enough boating in, Brady even parted with his board and left it in Utah.

The week of July 24th we went to the rodeo like we do every year. Paisley was very photogenic throughout the event.

The day before we left for Pittsburgh my nephew Colton got baptized.

This adorable picture was taken at a rest stop on our journey from Utah to Pittsburgh.

We stopped at winter quarters. It is always sad, but inspiring when you visit church history.

On our drive we stopped at the college football hall of fame.

Me and my first and current love!

Brady is teaching Paisley young who to cheer for.

Brady's white coat ceremony.

Brady and I went on a dinner river cruise with other students during orientation week.

Thanks mom, dad, and Jocelyn for helping us move, unpack and keep us company for a few days! We had some good food (a big benefit of living in a city) and went to a baseball game.

I had to post this picture because I absolutely love this girl and I can't believe she sits in a highchair at restaurants now. Where did my baby go?!

Cardinals vs. Pirates game. The lost and that goes without saying.

Paisley at her first ball game.

Are these 2 not the cutest people ever?

We have had such a good summer and love everything about Pittsburgh (give us time I am sure we will be making a list of annoyances). Thanks everyone in your support and love. We are so grateful for family and friends old and new. We have a room for visitors so watch airfare prices and COME SEE US!

Our New Tub

I hate getting on my knees when I put Paisley in the bath. Today I had the idea to let her bathe in the kitchen sink. It is awesome to be able to sit in a chair and watch her have a blast.

The Park

We love to go to the park a block from our house. There are often hundreds of people there for little league practice and games. It is crazy how the little league teams have their own cheerleading squads with matching nice uniforms. They love their football here. The park is a lot of fun between the playground and football. Great for people watching (my personal favorite). They even have a food booth that is always open with hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, etc... how awesome is that? I love game food. Anyways we still LOVE Pittsburgh and are so glad to be here!

First Tooth!

Ignore my fabulous look, I had just hopped out of the shower, EEKS!

I hate to leave the house during the day because Paisley is on a fabulous nap schedule and I don't want to change that. She usually naps 2 or 3 times a day for 2-3 hours each time. Well I had to run errands yesterday morning so she missed one nap. Then I went to watch a movie at my neighbors house so I woke her up from her second nap and then she did not want to take a third nap (which isn't like her and was upset the rest of the day). Finally when I was trying to calm her down after a screaming fit (which also isn't like Paisley) I put my finger in her mouth and found that a tooth is just breaking through. I felt horrible! I had to cry a little because I hate how fast Paisley is growing and then I had to give her a lot of cuddling since I had been frustrated earlier that day. Above are some picture of my little girl on her big/sad day.

Our Home

Moving was hard work and draining, but we had so many people help with the packing/unpacking and moving part that it made it that much easier. Thank you everyone who helped we couldn't have done it without you! It is nice to be here and settled so I thought I would post some pictures of our new "home".
Here is the front of the "row homes"
Here is our row home with our lovely camping chairs on the porch. Everyone hangs out on their porch in this city.
This is the entrance to our home.
These stairs lead down to the basement and it is so scary and stinky down there.

And of course it has the creepiest toilet in the open- WEIRD! Supposedly the old steel workers would come in the basement after work and clean up down there, thus a toilet.

Thank goodness it is nice and big and empty to fit all of our stuff.

Our first washer and dryer which I love having!

This room is off the entrance hall and it is supposed to be a family room, but we made it our dining room/misc room.

Here is our family room that was supposed to be the dining room.

This is the door from the kitchen into our "backyard". The yards here are so small because of the closeness of houses, but we are thankful for Pailsey to have some grass.
Here is our kitchen that we have packed full with different things.

The stairs leading upstairs are long and very skinny so it was an adjustment to go up and down them without falling!
Here is our bedroom at the top of the stairs.

There are only 2 closets in this whole house so that made it interesting to put away clothes. Above is what they look like.
I never appreciated central air since I have always had it but boy do we miss it! We are lucky to have to window units in our house.
Here is our guest room. PLEASE come visit!
At the end of the hall upstairs is Paisley's room.

Last, but not least our HUGE bathroom. Having one in the house makes it interesting, but I will never be desperate enough to use the toilet in the basement!
Our long hallway upstairs from Paisley's room to our room at the end. The homes in Pittsburgh are deep and not very wide, I guess to fit as many homes in as possible. (If that makes sense)
