Warren loved Trick-Or-Treating! Do you think Grandma has treats at her house?
These are our costumes.... I had a lot of fun making their costumes this year. I thought we could use them as pajamas for the rest of the year. I was worried a few times that Warren wasn't going to take to his costume, because every time I tried to try it on him he would run away. Then a few days before Halloween he wanted to be a hot dog, a dinosaur, and last but not least Tarzan. The next day he wanted to be Robin Hood. I made Logan's cape for Super Elmo first and it took part of the day to figure it out. I thought Warren's would come together much faster, boy was I wrong. I couldn't get the pleats how I wanted them and then the bias tape that I put along the top of the cape was unpicked, sewed, unpicked, sewed, unpicked, re-cut, sewed, unpicked.... I am grateful that we finally got it together and finally decided that he will love it no matter how it turns out. So, after all the worries but knowing in the back of my mind that he would love it... I wondered too if it was worth the time and then he tried on his hat and I knew that it was definitely worth it, next the cape, one of those VISA moments, priceless, and finally the shirt and pants an early birthday present for me. I let him wear it as pajamas that night and the next day he ran around the house being Super Grover, if it hadn't got in time out and dirty I am sure he would have worn it again. I am excited to wash the clothes so I can see him fly around the house again. I also need to grab a solo photo of Logan if he'll cooperate.
Our pumpkins that we made for FHE. I need to get the other side of Kyle's pumpkin.
