mini road trip

Some days when your husband is at work and your kids are bugging you, ya just got to get out of the house.  It was too cold for a beach day so we headed to the Barrus house and decided to take a little road trip to a cute ice cream place. We crammed all the kids into Taras van, there may or may not have been some double buckling, and headed on a mini road trip

 this is why we always use Tara's van, she has a DVD player.  Keeps them all quiet

Beach Day

One thing we have loved about living in Massachusetts is being close to the beach.  Tara and I meet up and head to the beach in her town called Cherry and Webb.  It's always so fun to play at the beach and it wears the kids out.

Pool Day

Our friends the Raleighs have a pool. One afternoon we went and spent a few hours swimming with them! the kids loved it!

Off with the cast

Krayton getting his cast off.  Like I remember as a kid, getting the cast cut off was horrifying!  that saw thing they used scared me.  I was prepared that Krayton wouldn't like it.  he cried while they were doing it but he also watched very intently at what she was doing.

 All the kids wanted to come watch Krayton get it off.  They were excited for him.

 He walked for a few days like he still had a cast on.  it was so funny to watch him sit and climb on stuff.  He would keep his leg out straight!  

I think he is pretty excited to have the cast off.  We all are.  Now he can bath and wont smell as bad!!

Fathers Day!

The kids really wanted to make James breakfast so Kyron got up and started pancakes.  I helped a little but for the most part he made them all on his own.  James loved it!

 Kyron had been asked to speak in church that day.  His topic was fathers.  he did such a good job.  I helped him write it so i was a surprise to James.  It made James cry!

Norton Fireworks

We met up with Howard and Liz and some other friends from vivint to watch the fireworks at Norton City.  It was their founders day.
