Another Great Week! Here are some pictures!...
Playing!

The girls!

Building sandcastles with brown sugar, as part of our weather unit. Too bad it we can't do the real thing, but brown sugar is a (very) close second! :)

Of course, "sugar," to most kids, means "eat!"...

...and make a mess :)

Letter hop scotch!

Here are a few pictures from preschool. Enjoy....

We did an experiment on how ice melts. I gave everyone a cup with an ice cube in it. I first, had them predict if they thought cold, warm, or hot water would melt the ice cube faster. Then, I poured cold in some, warm in some, and hot water in the others. As you can see, the ice did not melt in the one with cold water (1), the ice melted slowly with warm water (2), and quickly in the one with hot water (3).
We also put a cup of water outside to see if it would turn into ice....and it did! Yup, it was THAT cold outside!
They loved being scientists!

We did simple addition with beans. I wrote a number on the board, and they had to get that many beans out. Then I wrote another number on the board, and they added to their pile, then counted how many they had all together. They love doing this!! One of our favorite activities!

"Waddling" like penguins with soccer balls between their legs. (One benefit of being the wife of a soccer coach, is the endless amounts of soccer balls we have around the house! :)

Doing the alphabet chart (again, striking that pose :) )

"A says, a-a-Apple, B says. b-b-bicycle...."

Reading!

Playing with toys! A must!

Waiting for snack, and striking a pose!

We "dressed" boy for winter, and are girl for summer. Then, we put smiley faces on our favorite season. 5 liked winter, and 10 liked summer (they insisted that Azure and I put up a smiley face!)...This is a good indicator, to me, that winter is getting old!! Bring on the sun!!!
