No good stories here, just some pictures

So I have been meaning to get the girls pictures taken for quite some time and in the wee hours of the morning, as I was feeding Kyler, I randomly decided today would be the day.

Teigan, the shirts look so cute...I am sad Kyler's does not fit anymore, but I do like the all black.

I cannt speyll

I would like to apologize for all the misspelling you have found in my blog and will continue to find. Spell check can not save us all. I try to go back and correct them, but it is sometimes days later.

Thank you Michael for checking our blog and being my spell checker.

Kyler's First Bite...and other stuff

Ok, ok, this is the last post for today, but as you can see from the heading it is a very big time in Kyler's life. She is now eating rice and oatmeal cereal. Yum!

I don't talk specifically about Kyler much, so here are a few things going on with our little booger.

1) As of about 2 weeks ago she can now roll over from her tummy to her back.
2) Is spoiled rotten with love. You may think being the third child she is slightly attention deprived, not so, she arguably gets more attention then the rest of the people in the house combined.
3) Wants to be held all the time.
4) Is a mommas girl. Sorry Michael, but you know it is true. At least for now.
5) Loves to watch her sister's play, it's mesmerizing for her.
6) Loves to dance with mom.
7) Loves to sleep on dad.
8) Grunts ALL the time.
9) Not really interested in fun baby toys as she is still in love with her fist.
10) Is the perfect addition to our family...WE LOVE YOU KYLER!
At least it gets some use

Tricker Treater

What does a Rock Star, a Princess and a Pumpkin equal ???

A house of very girly girls on Halloween, who at the moment hate all things scary.

I was pretty proud of Kayden's costume because I made her shirt, and her little rock star tutu. When I was younger my mom would make some of our Halloween costumes, depending on what we decided to be, and I am trying to do the same for my girls. This year was my first attempt.

Kaylee gets her Halloween costume from her mom every year and was excited to wear what mommy Cyndi bought for her.

Kayden and Kaylee were this exact same pumpkin for their first Halloween, which is funny because Michael and I did not meet until Kayden's 3rd and Kaylee's 2nd Halloween. We thought it would be fun for Kyler to also be the pumpkin for her first Halloween, and lucky for us, Kaylee's costume was the right size.

The Kick Off

I thought the perfect way to kick off the Halloween spirit would be to carve our pumpkin's (from the pathetic pumpkin patch) the night before the big day. Too bad no one shared the joy in my pumpkin carving tradition. I thought it would be a good idea for the girls to draw the faces on their pumpkin and then Michael would cut them out...they thought it would be a good idea to just draw on there pumpkin's. Ok, I thought, that is fine...it's late and we still have to get up early for school so we can just carve Kyler's pumpkin. They were not even interested in that, they went off to play school and I sat in the kitchen thinking what the heck is wrong with my children, this is a great tradition. Lucky for me I was able to sucker Michael to come join my fun, which happened to be his FIRST pumpkin carving experience...yep, you heard me right. FIRST.

If you look close you will notice Kayden started playing a game and used her pumpkin to keep score with tally marks...at least they were good for something.
