So I have no time to blog... but here are a few pictures of the kids.

I just thought I would put some pictures of the kids on here! We have been very busy and the kids are growing up so quickly. John grew very slowly the first few months of life, but he has finally made it onto the growth chart - 20% in weight, 5% in height and a whopping 70% in head size. Jim says we have a bobblehead. Elizabeth loves her baby brother - sometimes to the point where he is screaming from her snuggles. But she does it all for love. She of course is a little jealous, but she is handling it pretty well. She is a chatterbox, she never ceases to amaze me with the things she says. Recently she told me we couldn't go to "crazy" because it was too far away (little does she know) and she told me we couldn't go there because we would get "owies." She cracks me up. Here are some pictures from the last few months.

The kids got a wagon for Christmas from Santa. We had to take it out for a spin on St. Patrick's day. It is going to be awesome for the zoo. I can't wait until John is big enough to sit up in it. He can sit up, but not for long. However it is only a matter of time.
Princess Elizabeth. Her Great Grandpa bought her this dress and she is so proud of how pretty she looks.

She got a cool tent with a tunnel for Christmas and we often spend time reading books or playing in here.

This is one of my favorite pictures, Elizabeth looks so cute snuggling up to John.
John at 6 months old. He is such a cute little guy and has such a cute grin. He is a pretty easy baby - I am very lucky.

A new member of the family

Our family would like to introduce our latest edition to the Keegan family, John Arthur. He was born on the 2nd and he is a little cutie. Here are some of the pictures I have taken the past month.

Disney World

We had a great vacation at Disney World the second week of June. We couldn't pass up Jim's free millitary 5 day hopper pass, and a deeply discounted pass for me. We even used our time share for the first time ever. It was a fun trip. Jim spent some time with his best friend from high school and we had a blast introducing Elizabeth to Disney. She would yell Mickey every time she saw his face, which was all the time. She also loved Minnie and Donald. She even braved a few of the themed rides from Pirates of the Caribbean to Haunted Mansion.
I didn't fare too badly myself, even though I am 6 months pregnant. It was hot, and very humid. But we had a fun time. We even met Jeremy at Epcot on our first real day in Florida. It is crazy, we had to fly clear across the country to see our friend who lives in Chicago. We did so many things, it is hard to describe them all. Elizabeth even went to her first water park - Typhoon Lagoon. She went body surfing with daddy, she did have a life vest on. She enjoyed it much more than her fraidy cat mother who stayed in the shallow end.
We went to all 4 parks. Epcot was one of my favorites. The Animal Kingdom was too hot and crowded to really enjoy, but it is a cool park. The tree of life is one of my favorite parts of the place. The Magic Kingdom was fun - we enjoyed all the Disney favorites - Small World, the Tiki Room (under new management) and Pirates of the Caribbean. Hollywood Studios was also fun because they had Star Wars characters everywhere, Jim loved it. They did Star Wars weekends in June this year. We even saw Darth Vader- that costume was huge!!!!
Here are some of my favorite photos of the trip.
Elizabeth and Jim wearing their 3D glasses for "It's A Bug's Life." She wouldn't keep the glasses on, and it was a little scary for her, but daddy told her to yell "go away buggies, go away" and it seemed to work. We enjoyed the theater because it was air conditioned. We were at Animal Kingdom. They also have a really cool safari ride, it recommended pregnant women not ride -but I went anyway and it was no worse then riding in Jim's old jeep.

Here she is in "France" at Epcot. She was posing for mommy!

Jim and Elizabeth "Celebrated" today with the whole Disney crew- they danced in the streets with all of the characters during a parade. It was so much fun - Jim was half dead by the end of it - they were both soaking wet from the heat and humidity. But they had a great time. I have video, but I don't think Jim would appreciate the fact that I put it on the web.

Here we are at the fireworks show at Epcot. Jeremy took our picture. Elizabeth didn't have a nap all day and was the best baby ever. I can't believe how good she is sometimes. We also spent some time with Jim's friend from high school here.

We had our pictures taken with all the characters, the park took professional pictures, but they also let you use your own camera as well, they took the pictures of us. They turned out great.
We had an awesome trip, and I am glad that we were able to do it. It will be a while before we can do another trip like this one.

So months later, I actually post again...

So for those of you who check to see if I ever update, you can see that I haven't in months. I will call it busy working mommy syndrome. I don't touch the computer very often. I had well over one hundred e-mails to slog through this week. I just don't have time to do it, after Elizabeth goes to bed I just want to veg in front of the t.v. for 2 hrs then go to bed myself.

Life with a two year old is fun. She is starting to hit those terrible twos. Who knew a two year old could have such opinions. We are also expecting baby number two, which according to the ultrasound guy is a boy. We are excited and can't wait - he is due in the middle of September. The timing isn't great because I will teach for three weeks and then give up my class. Who knows what they will be like when I come back from my maternity leave. But that's life.

Here are some cute pictures from the last few months that I want to show off. Elizabeth in her Christmas dress at my brother's house.

Elizabeth and I at Thomas the Train.

Elizabeth's new bicycle for her 2nd birthday party. I loved the cheesy grin. She is such a silly girl.

Elizabeth and Declan in California. We spent Easter weekend with Rob, Carol and Declan. We even made our first trip as a family to Disneyland.

Elizabeth and her cousins. Getting 4 kids to face the camera is almost impossible, but we did it.
We were all out in Oregon celebrating my grandparents' 65th wedding anniversary. It was a fun weekend.
Well that is all I have for now, there are tons more pictures, but these summed up the last few months pretty well. Hopefully I will stay up on my blog while Elizabeth naps this summer.

Lagoon again!

We took Elizabeth to Lagoon today to go to Spook-A-Boo and ride some rides. She didn't enjoy it nearly as much this time, she refused to go on Baby Boats and wanted to be held by Daddy instead of ride on one of the horses at Merry-Go-Round. I think she doesn't feel very well, however, she loved Spook-A-Boo, she thought the candy was the best part. She was a little fearful of the Chainsaw Guys, but she liked their dancing and was jamming out. Here are a few pics from the day.
We don't feed Elizabeth, can you tell?
Just give me the candy!!

Long time no blog!

Where do I begin, it has been weeks since I blogged last. Well since September, I have been crazy busy with school - I have a new Spanish textbook and I am teaching U.S. history for the first time since I student taught. As you can imagine, I am a very busy girl. Jim got pneumonia around the middle of September and that took him out, literally I have never seen him so wiped out, he basically was down and out for about two weeks. It has been well over a month, and he still has problems with his breathing.

We had Jim's Grandfather, Aunt Mary and Uncle David come for a quick weekend visit. They were visiting Jeff and the family before Jeff ships out. It was a fun visit. Since it has been so long since I last posted, I am going to post some random pictures from the last few weeks. Hope you enjoy them.

We went horseback riding the day we found out Jim had pneumonia. Actually it was technically the day before, because we spent 4 hours in the Heber Valley Medical Center Saturday night into Sunday morning trying to figure out what was wrong with him. He didn't have a cough or cold, he just had terrible chest pain. We were glad it was just pneumonia, not something more serious.
Here is Elizabeth in her Grandpa's rocking chair. Isn't it cute! She will have her own chair up at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Here she is trying on Great Grandpa's Fedora. She thought she was pretty cute. She loved looking at the pictures after we took them. Suzy has made her a camera hog!

Biking with the Keegan's

So this summer, Jim and I bought a bike trailer for Elizabeth to go riding with us. We bought it in June, but have been very busy all summer long. Needless to say we didn't put it together until a couple of weeks ago. So far we have taken her 3 times, including the pictures I am including. It is a lot of fun, but she slides down while riding so it doesn't look that comfortable for her. I was worried about her not having a helmet, so I went looking for one. It was the only one left at Target. It is good that she is a girl, because the only helmet I found was one with pink butterflies. Too bad it really doesn't work well in the trailer, it kept turning sideways and she kept trying to take the helmet off.
