It has been over a week now. I am feeling much better! I still don't want to move my neck at all - nor should I! This was a surgery to remove a disk that had spewed out material against my spinal cord. This was causing me pain down my right arm. 2 weeks after the surgery and my neck is a bit stiff but starting to get motion back. I hate surgery - especially when you are knocked out like this one. I am feeling pretty good now. It takes 3 weeks for the two bones to completely fuse together.

Evie weighed 8 lbs and was 21 1/4 inches at her 2 week Dr visit. She is continuing to grow fast. She holds her head up really well. Jared loves her to death, well we are actually trying to prevent the death part. But he definitely loves her and I know they will be great friends once she can do a little more. We are exhausted, but feel very lucky to have two beautiful, healthy happy kids.

I have eyelash envy. Evie's lashes are long and curl up at the edges, her eyes are just beautiful.

Here are some pics we had taken of Evie & Jared. It was quite the feat getting her to sleep and him to smile, but I think they turned out great!
