Book Worms

Photobucket
Kaylee was the only one to attend church on Easter Sunday. Our good neighbor took her with them. I took lots of pictures of her in her spring dress. Josh was saying that I was acting like she was going to the Prom:) I couldn't help myself. I love dressing her up. She's my only girl. It's our mother-daughter bond, doing girl stuff.

We found Caleb like this tonight. He wanted to read his book so we thought we'd allow it for a few minutes before he goes night-night. In the meantime, Josh, Kaylee and I all sat on the couch, each one had their own book to read. Kaylee was so funny when she was reading her book. This is what was written," Then - Crash!", and she read it," Then minus crash!":)
You'll never guess what Josh is reading... Twilight! Yes folks, that's right. He still has Eclipse and Breaking Dawn to read. He's so cute because he always discusses what he just read and asks lots of questions and then he gets mad if I give away too much. I must add a disclaimer to Josh reading the book, he asked me to read Atlas Shrugged, which I did and loved it, and so I asked him to read Twilight, and he's loving it even though he'll deny that to death:)

The Cat in the Hat

She memorized some of the lines that's why she reads them fast. I Don't want to push her to hard. She does better when she's self motivated. They both love Dr. Sues books, especially the Cat in the Hat. Caleb actually listens to her read the whole thing.

Josh wants me to post this next video. We will miss tito Dave. He's like part of our little family now. He comes over and hangs out with us once or twice a week. The kids love him. They get to play with him and torture him. Sorry about the saggy diaper.

2 days of good weather

We love sunny days. We had a great time last sunday dinner at the big house. Everybody was outside. Even the boys played baseball... well, sort of. I didn't know Kaylee can climb that tree in front of the guest house. The next two days were nice too. I bought my kids McDonald's happy meal and ate at the park and I didn't feel bad at all. It's alright as long as we don't do it often, right? I normally don't encourage fastfood but it's worth the squeal and the excitement I get from them even if it's just for a day.
