Outrageous

A McKay High School freshman isn't allowed to display a photo of her brother, a Marine who was serving in Iraq.

Shea Riecke says she's proud of her brother, 25-year-old Cpl. William Riecke. She recently brought a photo to display in her classroom.

"I initially grabbed the picture and didn't think anything of it. It's a picture of my brother at war," Riecke told KOIN News 6.

But the Salem-Keizer School District says the picture is "inappropriate in a classroom setting" because he is holding a gun.
