Toddler Bed 1/18/10

I am not sure if there is a magic age for when babies should move from a crib to a toddler bed, but I wanted to do it before the baby came. I started looking on craigslist months ago and wasn't having any luck. Finally, I set a goal of when I needed to find it by. I knew Jonathan's schedule was going to be crazy this semester and I wanted him to be able to pick up the bed, so I decided that I needed to find it before Martin Luther King Day since that would be his last break for a while. I looked all weekend and didn't find anything I wanted. Monday came around and I finally found something that I liked. Somehow Jonathan fit it in the trunk of our car. He is crazy like that. Raylin loves it. In fact, she was jumping on it the moment we put it in her room. She hasn't always slept perfectly in it. Some nights and naps she was found sleeping on the floor in front of the door. Most of the time she is found sleeping just like these pictures.

She still looks so tiny. I am sure she will out grow this bed soon, but I think it is the perfect starter bed.

She is so sweet and innocent when she is sleeping. Lately, she will take everything that is in her room that she can pick up and put it on her bed. Sometimes I wonder how she sleeps with it all. She will have shoes, diapers, her bumbo chair, etc... on her bed. If I forget to close her toy box she will sleep with every single toy too. I finally put her shoes somewhere where she can't get them and this crazy habit of hers is not so bad. I am so grateful that we have such a great sleeper.

Cute Pictures 1/18/10

Raylin loves her daddy. She especially loves it when he throws her up in the air. I just look away.

Look at that happy face.

She looks like she is flying.

She has some of the best smiles when she is with Daddy.

Oh, and she loves "Cuties" too. They are the perfect size for her. Don't worry, we usually peel them before we give them to her. These ones she snuck out of the fridge. In fact, instead of saying orange she says peel because we always tell her that we need to peel them before we give them to her.

Attention 1/12/10

We don't usually let Raylin come into our room. There is just too much for her to get into that it is easier to shut the door than to baby proof our whole room which includes our bathroom. Lately, instead of screaming at the door we see this.

Much better than screaming I'd say.

She was so excited that she got our attention.
