Bye Bye Binko!!!

So I'm not quite sure why it started getting called "BInko" but it is! To translate...Hallie is OFF THE BINK, BINKY, PACIFIER,....Whatever else it is called in houses all over the world! When she had an ear infection at Christmas and went to the Dr. in Idaho, well PA, she said that kids who have chronic ear infections need to go off the bink. THis was the first time we had ever heard this and she said it was text book! WE even had gone to an ear specialist and he didn't say anything about it! I have been slow in taking it away as that was Christmas and it is now the end of JAnuary, but she has slept THROUGH the night and a 2 1/2 hour nap today without it! So far she has actually been a better sleeper without it than with it.....shoulda done it months ago, although I don't hold my breath that this will be her normal sleeping habits! It's been a rough month for the little dear....first her bottle at the begining and the bink at the end.....maybe we should potty train her next month!

I Just Love These girls!!!

These girls are becoming such good buddies. I love watching them play together! SO sweet!

Hallie does/tries to do everything Lyssie does.

Their favorite snack is POPCORN! We have it almost every afternoon!

NO WORDS......JUST SWEET!

YUMMY CHOCOLATE FACE!

Little Buddies

Hallie's Favorite pasttime lately.....having Lyss help her wash her hands.....and sit on the potty. I like that!

OUR LYSSIE GIRL~
-Lyss has become even more motherly and actually it's very helpful! SHe helps Hallie put on her shoes, take off her shoes, get her snacks, helps keep track of her in stores (when I'm crazy and she's not in a cart!), always wants to hold her hand....Hallie's not such a fan of this but it's sweet!
-The other morning Lyss and Hallie came downstairs while I was exercising. Lyssie says:
"Mom what can I get for Hallie....she is really hungry!"
"Get her some goldfish." (The only snack they don't need help with!)
They proceeded to sit in the rocking chair together and eat goldfish crackers for breakfast!!!!
- Lyssie is doing a little ABC preschool with some of our friends. SHe LOVES it! It's just once a week for 3 hours and we rotate houses. So fun for her!
- Asks everyday when I'm going to pay the money for her to get to go to dance class. SHe loves to dance and almost everyday we have a dance party and rock out to Hannah Montana!

SWEET HALLIE CAT:
- She's having a hard time being sweet with 2 molars...at least....trying to break their way through! Gotta Love it!
- She is starting to really try and repeat words you tell her too.
-Knows where her nose, mouth, ears, and eyes are.
-Loves the "No David" Books
-Wants to eat all the time. SHe hangs on the fridge door and cries! It's only a phase, it's only a phase, it's only a phase!

I love these girls and I'm so thankful that I get them!

December in A NutShell!

I just can't believe it's already January. The hoidays make the end of the year go by so fast! I have already thought up projects to do throughout January to ward off the January blues.....AKA fog. It usually gets so dreary and cold here for about 2 months....and then it's spring! Anyway- we had a fun CHristmas and a fun Month. Some of our highlights:

We made and decorated gingerbread houses at the begining.

We went sledding.....our Bishop has the perfect hill in his backyard for sledding. Just when they're starting to go fast, it's over! BOth the girls loved it! I have a video that will come!

I turned 25 and this is my cake I decorated! I just love decorating cakes. Jake got me a fondant book for Christmas and I was trying to think of some reason to make a cake!

We opened Jake's fam presents before we went to my house for Christmas. We all got some GREAT stuff! The Tea set and the recorder are probably the favs!

The girls (mostly Lyss) but Hallie has gotten into it too!...Love to dress up. Lyssie got some dress up things for Christmas and it came with necklaces, rings, clip on earings, and bracelets. THey both love to put them on and have me wear some too. Such girly girls!

ANd this was really taken tonight, but it was cute and I'm caught up now!

I forgot to take my camera to my parent's at Christmas, but we had a good time and Santa found us there! I just love being home for the Holidays. OUr drive back got a little exciting on top of the blues, but at least the steep part on the Walla Walla side was just wet thank heavens! NOw on with my January projects!
