Our First Trip to the City

Sunday afternoon we decided to head out to D.C. to spend some family time, and to get out of the apartment. We decided to see the memorials that day. We saw the FDR, Thomas Jefferson,  Lincoln, Vietnam war, World War II, and Korean war memorials. They were all cool, but I liked the Lincoln memorial the best. People were celebrating the end of the Korean war in front of the Lincoln memorial, so we watched them do Tai Kwan Do for a little while. We ended up walking 4 miles that afternoon, the worst part of the day.

On our way

Big Daddy and I are at the Austin airport. We are flying to D.C. To
start our search for our new home. I have given my sister T the best
gift a newlywed can get...five days watching the four kiddos. What
better birthcontrol can you ask for?
