Crawdad Catchin'

We went to Strawberry Reservoir one Saturday evening with Grace, Osmer, Joseph and Charity to catch these little creatures.  Charity's words,  "Eww those are so ugly! Are we really going to eat them?"  Yes, yes we did eat them.  Actually they tasted pretty good with a little Cajun seasoning.  I, however, have to admit I am a sissy and didn't touch them until after they were cooked. 

Jaxon had a good time fishing with Aunt Grace and enjoying the outdoors.  John even took up the raft for a pre-whitewater trial on the lake.

We had a good time.  This may become an annual tradition.

Gwamma Request

Here is happy Jaxon at 6 a.m.  He is a morning person like his daddy.  I usually like to sleep at 6 a.m.

I've been finding Jaxon on his stomach in his crib lately.  He's really good at rolling from his back to his stomach but he doesn't know how to roll from his stomach to back.  He gets frustrated and starts "yelling" at me to come get him.  I guess this time he got tuckered out and fell back asleep.

I don't plan on being a great blogger...  Just to warn you, this blog will probably be mostly about our family and the most entertaining member, Jaxon.  Here are a few recent pictures for you.
