DON’T BE BLUE....

Do I really feel blue to write a couple of blues?

Should I be feeling blue to write a couple of blues?

How can I write, where I have little or no clues!!

Just let go and let your creative juices flow

They say just let go and let your creative juices flow

But, the truth is I ain’t even feeling so low.

Now, I sh’d have a drink or two

C’mmon give me a drink or two

Oh! Shucks...this is making me tipsy than blue

What the hell! Now is the time to get real

What the heck! Now, let us get real

Forget blues; let us don our dancing shoes which are teal.

Common, let us jive, dive and drive ourselves crazy

Ohhh baby, let us jive dive and drive ourselves crazy

Let’s dance, come by my house don’t be lazy.

  3. This was great! I could soooo relate! ;) Seriously, it was a challenge today to really write a blues poem for me because I tend to be an optimist..but I tried! Great job on yours. :)

  9. Hello Janu.
I'm a happy person and love to sing & dance...it's how I start and end my days. Love the imagery & flow of your not so blues blues...I can see your pretty feet in your teal shoes...haha, I'm even rhyming unintentionally! (lol). Thanks for sharing.
